I have a 24 XLT on order, to be built at the end of January. I know many of the bells and whistles are only temporarily free subscription services, such as XM radio, ATT wireless WIFI, Ford navigation services, etc. I have no intention of getting a subscription to or using XM radio, or WIFI and will probably use my phone for navigation. I feel there is no sense in activating any of them since I have no intention of paying a monthly fee in a couple months in order to use them.
I have read about annoying popups reminding you to subscribe to various services on the infotainment screen that are or will be ending the free trial.
Does anyone know if I don't activate any of the trial subscriptions will that eliminate the possibility of receiving unwanted subscription popups or will that just cause more popups reminding me to activate the trial subscription?

Never saw any pop-up.
Granted - my Nav is still under the first 3 years, although I never use it (I did in the beginning but I use Google Maps now through Android Auto and will never ever pay for Ford Nav subscription).
I used the 3 months wifi trial when I first got the truck, it's been almost 2 years since it expired and haven't seen any pop up or reminder.
I am paying for XM which I'll stop when this cycle ends, they better not bother me with pop-ups.

I appreciate the replies. I can't even tell you where I read about the popups. That's why I asked here. I've been thinking about this for a while. Goes to prove, don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I can only speak to XM/Sirius radio but when you're subscription expires and you choose that as your audio source, you will get a pop up.

I got my truck in November and Sirius has expired, I get a call from Sirius a couple times a week but Apple identifies it and I ignore it, haven’t felt like telling them to fuck off yet. I did get a couple notifications about the ford services by email and the app, but nothing terribly obnoxious. The only obnoxious one is Sirius, I have the feeling if I actually answer and say I’m not interested they will take me off the call list.

I 100% use CarPlay, no need for other services. Coming from a 2014 uconnect, wireless CarPlay is a game changer.

While I received a few pieces of junk mail regarding Sirius (which I've never used, not even on a 'trial basis', nor subscribed to) I've not seen any 'popups' anywhere in my vehicle or on FordPass.
