Did it with forscan for the price of the OBD2 cable. Easy as pie and works flawless.

Doesn’t the forscan method leave a warning message on startup or was a work-around found for that? Not that’s its a huge deal but some people (like me) don’t like popups.

I have the eliminator which I bought before the truck arrived… never installed it, the auto start stop doesn’t bother me most of the time now that I’ve gotten used to it.

No warning message when disabled with forscan, unless you do it wrong I guess ?‍
