Add Auto-Start-Stop

Leave it out. It has become second nature to me to disable it every time I start the vehicle. I wish mine had been deleted.

Now that I think of it, if you want to add it then the 4D Tech part may be able to do it. You might give them a call.

Haven't verified, but it highly likely this pump was completely removed from ASS-delete trucks, as its sole function is maintaining trans pressure for immediate engine input from a stop/start.

Thanks for that. First I've seen actual look at what goes into ASS besides supposedly a beefier starter. I'll forever keep it disabled but good to know what parts are on truck for it.

OK gang. What can we do with an unused stop-start e-pump?

Mine has the delete, I checked the part #’s and the starter is the same between one equipped with ASS and without. We still have the HD starter but no extra wear on it, so hopefully they last a long time.

Everyone is different. I could care less about fuel economy, that’s why I got my degree and licenses. I make enough money to feed any engine I want. In fact, I’d take even more cubic inches if Ford made it lol.

As far as adding? I’d forget about it, won’t save much.
