I don’t really like the large flaps, but I hate the dirt/sand getting on the running boards, so I installed the Husky flaps. They are small and curved and look inconspicuous on my carbonized grey PB. As you can see the dirt does spash up well behind the flap though, but the running boards stay pretty clean.

Well that's it. Nobody wants big ass ugly mud flaps on their truck, but you also want to protect your investment the best you can. I'm actually thinking about going back to smaller tires just because I don't like having the amount of poke I do. It all started because of the upper control arms and my lift. I always had either WeatherTech or Husky for all my stock vehicles, and never had any complaints. A simple piece of plastic to do a simple job. Nothing more.

Also if you pull anything why would you want the crap flying all over your travel trailer or boat.... Just to look cool... I say, buy a sports car ?.

Gatorback mudflaps… worth every penny

Did installation of the Gatorback mudflaps require drilling any holes? I have a new space white truck with the blackout package and am considering these: https://www.ford.com/product/splash...-pair-with-f150-on-black-surround-p2784825675

If I read it correctly it suggests it'll fit with no drilling but I'm really not sure. I'm hesitant to go drilling into my brand new truck right away. How was your experience install-wise?

I think maybe they are a bit larger than the regular OEM too?

Yours look great on your truck!

In my opinion, those are going to require drilling. I but the cheap no drill ones that use clips and one existing screw, I have never broken one off yet

I've never had them but just purchased my first white truck, and coming from Grey I didn't realize how quickly the white gets dirty. Literally drive home from car wash, instant dirty.
Do the splash guards help? I've never had them but considering if it will keep my truck looking cleaner longer.
I'm hesitant because I like the look of the tire treads from the rear, and I don't see them on trucks often.

Splash guards are worth it. If you drive on gravel, mud, or snow. They keep your truck cleaner, protect the paint, and save running boards from grime. OEM Ford or WeatherTech fit great, no drilling needed. Downside: might not look sleek on a stock truck. If you’re rural or off-road, get ‘em.

I installed the OEM splash guards on my former 2022. They helped quite a bit to keep the truck cleaner, especially in the winter. It cuts down considerably on the snow and ice buildup between the bottom of front doors and the running boards.

I used the Rokblox and prefer them over all others (mainly, because they don't cup into the wind and collect crud) but I did read recently, that they had a troublesome fit on MY 24 + trucks.

I Installed the Gatorbacks on my '22. These replaced the OEM guards - I didn't care much for them. No drilling required.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but why have chrome when truck is an un-chromed model (Sport or BAP).
Much prefer the restrained look of the OEM.

I looked at the blacked out version of the same flaps and did not care for them. I like a little shiny.

I chose a different style. I wasn't 100% sure, but I like them. To each their own. I think if your truck isn't lifted these would look ridiculous. I got them because of my wheel poke. Only real issue is I don't want these on the front so I have to deal with my running boards being dirtier than I like.

Where did you pick these up from?

Thanks, I cant find those blacked out ones there. Hmmm
When you select the mud flap you go in and choose the colors. It's there.
