Any chance of getting a picture of that?
So here it is. It’s 2 impact sockets from harbor freight. I hang it for the back side of the wheel on the right side. But you could hang from left if you wanted to. Hang it in the back and it’s real low key. I wrapped it all with Tessa tape.

Interesting so how does it work, does it basically always pull the wheel in one direction and then the truck corrects when you get too close to a line?

also which sensitivity do you have yours on? Post a pic if you are able!
picture posted of it. I’ll take a video if I can tomorrow. But with lane centering on it does not “ping pong” it stays generally right in the middle. The weight just mimickes your hand resting on the wheel but the computer is doing the steering. I usually just rest my hands on my lap or on the arm rests and always keep a close eye on the road ahead because if the camera can’t see the lines or if a line ends on one side etc. it will sometime want to move towards where the line ends. It takes a bit and you kinda get used to it and can sometimes predict when it might shut off. It’s best used on the interstate but I have lots of backroads and as long as they are well marked it works awesome. As far as setting there are 2 separate things we are talking about here. Lane keeping=can be set to different sensitivities and it will ping pong back and forth. That’s when cruise is not on. Lane centering= when the cruise is engaged it will actively steer and keep the truck in the center of the marked lane. There is not a setting for sensitivity. It’s either on or off.

Ah!! I didn’t know it was different when cruise was on!! I don’t think I’ve ever tried it that way!

Will have to go out for a rip tomorrow, thanks for the explanation and picture!!

You will know if it’s actually in and working when the little truck in the cluster has these blue kinda halos on each side.

Ahh do you have adaptive cruise? I’m thinking that might be the difference maker since I just have regular cruise!

Yes. I have the co-pilot assist. Meaning lane centering, adaptive cruise etc. it’s a package.

On a side note, I’ve read that the mid gen refresh will happen on the 2024s. Do you think it’s worth the wait? What changes do you think they’ll make, possibly the new interface that was delayed?
Biggest changes will be Android Automotive replacing Sync 4, a new front end that matches Ford's latest theme (Think Maverick, Super Duty, Expedition, New Ranger), maybe a new multifunction tailgate.

I really wanted to wait for the refresh, but I've had three refresh Fords and they've all been problematic (Nothing a million trips to the dealer couldn't work out, but frustrating) . Figure I'd break the pattern with something that Ford's had plenty of time to work the kinks out of. Plus, doesn't hurt that it's already a damn good looking truck.
