Can any owners in here describe their experiences with F150 adaptive steering? Has it given you any problems, is it worth the money and etc..?

I love it. I have it on my PB Platinum. Slows the steering down at highway speeds when towing. Helps get into parking spots when driving slow in parking lots. To me it was worth the money.

Is the adaptive steering something that can be added later? I've ordered a Platinum PB with the 701A package, Bluecruise, towing package...all the goodies. However, my salesman called saying Ford contacted them and is requiring the adaptive steering be removed. My concern is the feel and handling on the highway. I haven't driven an F150 in a REALLY LONG time and I hated driving on the highway. The steering felt so loose and completely disconnected from the road. I swear I could turn the steering wheel with a toothpick without it breaking. It took no effort to steer, and I felt like I was fighting to stay centered.
