Following this thread because the G3's seem to hit the sweet spot for a moderately aggressive AT that still performs great on the road. I'm looking at upgrading the stock Pirellis once they wear out with 275/65R20 Nittos. Thanks for the great updates so far.

I've now had them for some time and I'm very satisfied with the appearance and the performance of the tires. I haven't had any issues in the rain and they're not very loud tires, even on some of the roads down here, that they should re-pave.

I've had the Terra Grapplers on for a few weeks now with snow and a road trip. They have done great in the snow so far, and they performed well during the road trip. My impression is that they are a little louder than the OEM Hankooks were, but barely noticeable. The ride seems slightly firmer, but the air pressure is also higher.

That's good to hear! Are you running stock size or does higher air pressure mean you went with an LT size?

I did go with LT and stock size.

Great to hear some good reviews. I am waiting for 275/65/20 116T P rated tires to come out. Discount had them in listed as Dec 1st and now have them as coming soon. They have more siping than E load LT tire, they are only a couple lbs heavier than the stock hankooks even for a 34" tire, and they have 70k warranty which PB users will probably win out on due to weight. It seems like an all round winner given very few 34" tires are non-LT E load range.

Looks VERY similar to the Recon Grapplers, with the recons being slightly more aggressive. Another tire to keep an eye on when replacement time comes

Ford F-150 Anyone using Nitto Terra Grappler G3 tires? 20241214_165216
Today I got the Nitto G3s in SL 275/70/18. Other than the General Grabbers, I think this is the only SL in that size. Initial impression is that they are very quiet and handle well. I would call them more firm/sporty (for a truck tire) and are certainly an improvement over the stock Goodyears. Will give an update after I've had them on for a while.

Those are the size I'm looking for. They look great. Glad to hear you like them!

No pictures yet (truck is filthy with salt, dirt, snow, etc.) but I got a set of 275/65/20 SLs and they've done great in mixed snow conditions (light fresh snow, icy and compact snow, etc.) and I will say they do ride a bit firm, but I am still finding the sweet spot for air pressure. They're at 40 PSI. Weather has essentially been -20 F ever since I put these things on. Will be driving back to N. Idaho where snow will be wet and heavy. Looking forward to testing these out in new conditions.

I should note that these are replacing a disappointing set of Falken Wilpeak AT3s at stock size.

I bet that size and the 275 70 18 I have above are going to be pretty popular. There just aren't many SL options in those sizes. Mine ride a bit firm too but I'm OK with that especially when towing my travel trailer.

How's the noise on the G3's? Also, how do they compare to the AT3's?

No discernible noise. I’ve been a Falken Wildpeak fanboy for a while, but my last three sets were duds. With that said, a fresh set of Wildpeaks compared to a fresh set of G3s are indistinguishable thus far.

So are you saying the G3s are duds or they were satisfactory?
