Anyone regret choosing the tow mirrors.

I currently have a 2023 lariat and we use it to tow our boat to the lake. I do not have tow mirrors, just regular and like the look. They work, but it would be nice to have the tow mirrors on occasion. I have a 25 KR on order and choose to go with the tow mirrors this time. Has anyone regretted getting the larger tow mirrors? Just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

Absolutely not. Frankly, I still find it curious how some people can drive these giant shit wagons WITHOUT tow mirrors.

my only complaints are I dont have them and i hate walking into one on a f150 that was disguised in a parking spot

Good point. I didn't say it myself, but I value the functionality even without anything hitched to the truck.

Just get the power fold function. I upgraded to that from manual. So much nicer parking. No one hitting the mirror and breaking it.

You want the tow mirrors. On a KR, you should have the power folding and telescoping ones, which would be awesome.

I wish I had the power ones on my XLT. I would have paid a whole lot more for them but its ford forcing you into a higher trim level. So mine are manual ones. Oh well.

With power-fold, not a moment's hesitation; without power-fold, only a moment's hesitation, then get 'em.

(I've got an XLT non-power-fold and a Lariat with power-fold; love 'em both, wouldn't be without, no regrets )

Yea it’s like $2400 bucks to add the power. I did it it was a pain. Bought the ford upgrade kit as they call it. Has some parts not all, and no wiring for it

You can buy a platinum driver's door harness for ~$170 and then use your XLT harness to pull wires out of to put into the passenger side to complete it to have full power mirrors. The platinum harness comes with the connection for the memory lock button, it and its trim piece are about $60 and that adds memory to the mirrors. I did this on mine but only had the tow mirrors on for a day, still pretty much new in the box. (if you add heated/cooled seats the memory works on them too )
