Thanks guys. That’s what it is. Am I being cheap when I complain that they are almost 1k for the textured ones ? Too expensive ? I know everything is expensive

If they're immobile, that's crazy. My amp boards which are textured and tuck under the truck were $1400.

Right ? It’s the Go Rhino name tax as well.

That's my suggestion personally. If you're going to do it, do it ;)

FWIW, my order was fulfilled by https://sportcompactwarehouse.com/ (though drop-shipped directly from AMP)
There was a $100 rebate by AMP that I'm hoping they process. They lock MSRP on their products so they might not like me already getting a $230 discount (which didn't come out of their pocket) so we'll see if they honor the rebate.

Far more useful than factory, this is someone else's vid but shows their operation logic -- they're door-actuated, per-side. Either pass door opened, pass step deploys, etc...

manufacturers have their own MSRP.
many refuse to sell at a lower cost so as not not to undercut their customers (vendors).
makes sense to me. If another business can lower their sales price, it most likely will generate more sales, not to mention competition from other vendors.

manufacturers sell their stuff at wholesale to vendors and this reduces their bookkeeping (taxes).
the vendors can set the prices anywhere over wholesale to cover costs/profits.

they are better off selling in bulk to vendors and let them worry about the other stuff.

I once wanted to place an order for a wiring kit for one of my hot rods.
the manufacturer asked me to order from someone else for a rather good price break.
They would still sell little things to finish the job, but they did not make them.
just items that complemented their own products.

thats one BIG BUG IN MY ASSS with my 22
my 16 exp the running boards were dependent on which side was open so only one side would drop down if i opened the driver door .
cant understand why they changed it to BOTH drop if you only one side

Just find some raptor boards on eBay. Less $$ and solid as a rock. I have the Ford powered ones now, but put raptor boards on my ‘13 and ‘18. Now the Tremor boards are nice too and don’t say “raptor” on them, but are probably more $$ than used raptor ones.
