Anyone install 2024 OEM LED bed lights

both of you had EBD? My current harness is RL3T-13A409-EBD

I can't find anything on ford parts for my vin says nothing fits my truck. so I don't know exactly how your referencing.

After comparing the as-built configurations I determined that my 2025 XLT 302a having the RL3T-13A409-BBE harness requires replacement with the RL3T-13A409-BEE which is part number rl3z13a409e

Then you just need the two OEM pigtails, switch, and lights to compete the install along with the 3 FORSCAN changes.

My local dealer sourced the harness from a neighboring state and the installation was a 2/10 in difficulty mostly because I couldn't find my trim tool and I said a naughty word or two while digging through my tool boxes.

Reread this 14 page thread. I cant seem to locate a pin out chart for C408. Everyone states that they tapped #28 & #31 on C408. How did you locate the correct pins numbers?

Its the 2 wires directly in the middle of the C408 plug

Anyone know what the proper replacement main harness is for '25 Tremor 401a? PN appears to be RL3T-13A409-BCF. Haven't seen this one mentioned in here. When I search it on ford parts it brings up RL3Z13A409C. Not sure how to search the equivalent with lighting package. Thanks

Hello All,

I can confirm this still works on 2025 F-150 Powerboost. The wires and pinout are still the same. I had installed my bed lights and switch a couple of weeks back but had to wait for Forscan to recognize my truck, and it is as of the latest Forscan release. The settings are also the same. I bought the Ford OEM lights, switch and the light harnesses, but opted to make my own from the body connector to each light harness in which I cut off the OEM connectors and solder/heat-shrink my connections. And for those interested in which body harness the 2025 PB XLT 303A w/o scales, w/incandescent tail lamps, the tag was "BCE".


Are you saying that your truck without the bed light connectors has "BCE"?

I have the same truck and need to know which OEM harness has the bed light connectors. Do you know the answer to this?

Yes, my pickup's harness was labeled BCE and did not come with the prewire for the bed lights. The main harness did have the wires at the connector behind the rear bumper going back to the BCM. I opted to make my own bed lamp and switch harness and connect directly to them.

I did have to change a few options with Forscan as they will not work without programming.

I found the settings I changed as I had saved them to Notepad on my laptop. Here ya go:

Yeah after wildcard searching RL3z13a409* on ford parts I'm not sure if there is an alt harness.
Not seeing Tail lamps level 2, power inverter #2/3/4/5, + lighting package. Correct me if I am wrong . Since the 25 tremor lost the LED level 3 tail lamps I think this is where it became a unique main harness.

Hello everyone, i'm starting to look into this on my 2025 XLT with 303a.

Tonight i looked under the rear and i see my harness is RL3T-13A409-BBF

So I'm guessing i'll be going with the RL3Z-13A409-E.

One question though, looks like that harness is going all over the place, how big of a task is it to take it all out and replace?

hey man sorry to bug you on this , I have a 2025 stx has led tails , would this be the same harness I would need to add in bed leds ? I have no caped or plugged harness ends under my bed . Also I do not have the in bed power / inverter . Was just going to pick your brain thanks you
