Going to throw the Noco out there - I have the NOCO Genius GEN5X1 permanently attached to my F150's battery and love it. Dealer replaced the stock battery with an H8 like six months into ownership, and that's when I added the Noco. Haven't had any problems since, though plugging in the cable daily isn't going to be for everyone. If you park outside, a 10W solar panel on the dash might be useful?Battery Tender. Schumacher or Daltran Battery Tender Plus.
Appropriate, just remember that the little battery and the main battery are paralleled except when starting the ICE. My take is that if there's a problem it's in the main battery since that is the 800# gorilla of the 12vdc system. This fits with my experience of weird readings and warnings in the 12VDC system.Might benefit checking the battery under the rear seat for state of charge and/or resetting the BMS.
So in your case, the auxiliary battery was causing the issue. I mean my truck is a 2021 with 112K miles on it, so it has been used.....sounds like I need a new auxiliary battery.yep, i had the same warning and issues. I just replaced my auxilary battery in my 2021 F150 Lariat PB. $75 Ford factory one from a local dealer.
it's a battery... their life expectancy is only 3-5 years. It wa probably 6 months to a year old before being installed in the truck, lol.
$75 and 5 minutes time...all good.
yep, that was the issue. if your engine battery was going bad, the red battery light on the dash would be on.So in your case, the auxiliary battery was causing the issue. I mean my truck is a 2021 with 112K miles on it, so it has been used.....sounds like I need a new auxiliary battery.
