Has anyone else had Antimatter Blue paint issues of visible primer? My 2025 Lariat door frames, rear of cab, roof gutters etc are lit up with primer and lack of paint. Unfortunately, I didn’t see this until after delivery in the afternoon sunlight.

If you haven't already- see this thread. Several others I believe (other than OP) reporting issues with Antimatter blue paint:

Welcome to owning a Ford antimatter blue truck!! Most of us have paint problems of one sort or another that involves visible primer in several areas of the truck. Mine has unpainted areas on the roof drainage and the front of the bed behind the cab. Maybe one day there will be some sort of class action remedy since it seems to be a problem across model years but I wouldn’t hold my breath on Ford doing anything they aren’t forced into. Good luck with yours!

This seems to be common. I guess I'm fortunate that the only areas I have noticed this are the rain gutter channels on my roof. On the very front and rear of the channel area the paint is a little thin and you can barely see primer. Since it's such a small area im not concerned. I have inspected all around the truck and haven't noticed any other areas. We shall see how the paint holds up over the years

Look at the back of the bed and the bottom of the back side of the doors.

Remember when: Ford - tagline famously read, "Quality is Job 1." The motto neatly summarized the automaker's efforts to build long-lasting, trouble-free vehicles. Through the 21st century, however, the blue-oval has fallen short of this standard

as someone who holds a high ideal and view of the company…. To say it’s disappointing lately is an understatement.
I have owned:
3 regular cab F150s, 2 80s Boncos, 1 ford ranger, 5 Super-crew F 150s, Supercrew f250.
Quality was something Ford stood behind. I will be surprised if Ford and Mullinax Ford Step Up to make this right for a life long Ford Motor Company customer.

I don’t even understand how my truck got out the door past QC. The only explanation I have is that QC is a joke because I own proof that no one bothered to inspect my truck before it was even assembled. $85k of mostly painted truck. It looks okay from the ground and you can’t see the primer on the bed unless you walk up and stick your face right behind the cab. This truck isn’t going anywhere for the next 8 years and it’s a garage queen so screw it, I’m not fighting with Ford and the dealer over it as long as it’s just a little paint missing. You know what really gets me though? They knew that they had a problem with the paint on these trucks, they still let them go and they still didn’t fix the problem with the next model year either. That’s some serious we don’t give a damn about the customer. Good luck with yours.

Holy crap man, I thought my 23 Lariat was bad, they had to paint all the door jambs and fuel door under warranty, yours is by far worse than mine was. Did you get that brutal paint job warrantied yet? Mine was White Platinum in color BTW.
Ford paid to fix it and then bought it back.

I remember the late 70s Ford cars were absolute junk, the early 80s F series were good, but had a lot of new plastics being used - literally everywhere.
I have a '25 Lariat now - it is night and day better than my previous '21 and '23 were. Paint is great (pearl white is the name I think) and the fit/finish plus driving experience seems better. The other two were greatly affected by covid and parts crisis I think ...

My 2025 KR in Antimatter Blue was delivered at the end of June. I didn't notice anything obvious, so I just went out and looked under/over/around a little closer to see if I had any of the trouble spots noted above, but fortunately I still didn't see anything. If there are blemishes on there, it's not obvious and would need me to get even closer to spot, which means it's probably not going to bother me. :)

I don't know if they make these in different plants but I think mine said it came from Dearborn, if that adds any context.
