If you haven't already- see this thread. Several others I believe (other than OP) reporting issues with Antimatter blue paint:Has anyone else had Antimatter Blue paint issues of visible primer? My 2025 Lariat door frames, rear of cab, roof gutters etc are lit up with primer and lack of paint. Unfortunately, I didn’t see this until after delivery in the afternoon sunlight.
I don’t even understand how my truck got out the door past QC. The only explanation I have is that QC is a joke because I own proof that no one bothered to inspect my truck before it was even assembled. $85k of mostly painted truck. It looks okay from the ground and you can’t see the primer on the bed unless you walk up and stick your face right behind the cab. This truck isn’t going anywhere for the next 8 years and it’s a garage queen so screw it, I’m not fighting with Ford and the dealer over it as long as it’s just a little paint missing. You know what really gets me though? They knew that they had a problem with the paint on these trucks, they still let them go and they still didn’t fix the problem with the next model year either. That’s some serious we don’t give a damn about the customer. Good luck with yours.Remember when: Ford - tagline famously read, "Quality is Job 1." as someone who holds a high ideal and view of the company…. To say it’s disappointing lately is an understatement.
I have owned:
3 regular cab F150s, 2 80s Boncos, 1 ford ranger, 5 Super-crew F 150s, Supercrew f250.
Quality was something Ford stood behind. I will be surprised if Ford and Mullinax Ford Step Up to make this right for a life long Ford Motor Company customer.
Holy crap man, I thought my 23 Lariat was bad, they had to paint all the door jambs and fuel door under warranty, yours is by far worse than mine was. Did you get that brutal paint job warrantied yet? Mine was White Platinum in color BTW.Here’s the photos from mine. https://photos.app.goo.gl/vRYaxxZuh8UgBEbU7
Ford paid to fix it and then bought it back.Holy crap man, I thought my 23 Lariat was bad, they had to paint all the door jambs and fuel door under warranty, yours is by far worse than mine was. Did you get that brutal paint job warrantied yet? Mine was White Platinum in color BTW.
I remember the late 70s Ford cars were absolute junk, the early 80s F series were good, but had a lot of new plastics being used - literally everywhere.Remember when: Ford - tagline famously read, "Quality is Job 1."
