When I was towing, I put it in tow mode and it's cool that it will show the left/right camera view when you turn on your blinker to change lanes/turn. It's a tow-mode thing, I think, and not dependent on just if the trailer is attached? I could be remembering that wrong? And I think it also...
I knew I left that punchline dangling. :)
I pulled out a bunch of stuff from the trailer that had accumulated over the years, weighing items as they came out.
I think it was about 48# of gear from the front passthrough that I'm calling "unnecessary" especially when boondocking (extension cords...
A larger HV battery would be cool and all, but it would eat so much into the payload capacity that I think it becomes counter productive. I'd guesstime a 10KWh battery pack weights in around 200 lbs maybe? compared to however much the current smaller one is.
It's not much maybe, but it's...
There were a couple times when I was googling for something or another related to my truck that I was researching, and the result was something here. I understand having server issues, as an admin of a site myself. What confused me was that even for some older posts, I went to archive.org and...
I recently got back from a nice 3300+ mile road trip on my new 2025 KR. It was my chance to really try out the BlueCruise feature on the interstates and highways (and surprisingly a few smaller roads). The lane change assist is pretty cool, although I had to retrain my brain to let the truck do...
Sorry if this is a dumb question (and honestly, the answer can probably be found by searching on here but maybe putting an answer in this thread is helpful):
For a Powerboost engine, what's the max size you can put in? Is it an H7 or can you put an H8 size in there? This would be for a 2025...
That type of bit is probably less common than the security Torx (I have some but just because I bought a HUGE set of security bits a long while back, and it included a lot including that type). Interesting...
I've noticed that when I hit the voice button. I'm in a hot area (temps over 100, even 110) and I've had the AC on max and it's pretty loud. Listening to the radio too. When I hit the voice button to enter a destination for example, the audio mutes and the fan speed goes down. Which is good...
My 2025 KR in Antimatter Blue was delivered at the end of June. I didn't notice anything obvious, so I just went out and looked under/over/around a little closer to see if I had any of the trouble spots noted above, but fortunately I still didn't see anything. If there are blemishes on there...
This is an interesting thread. Honestly, when I saw that the F150 I was buying had the dealer installed keypad, I wasn't totally on board with it, but it was part of the order, so oh well.
But then it showed up and I looked at it, and you know what? It's fine. :) I'm coming at this from never...
Here's a couple photos of how the bedliner turned out from that FMJ place in Tacoma. It should give an idea of what doing the tailgate looks like from a shop that takes the time to do it.
It depends... and that's a good question. How loud is too loud? :) It's a National Forest site and there's a mix of RV and tent campers, and it's those tent campers that I try to be aware of (especially since my inlaws are part of that group) :)
My Honda EU2000i is "quiet" but also not quiet...
I just got my 2025 bed sprayed yesterday, with the pro access tailgate. It's a local place in Tacoma, WA (Full Metal Jacket) and I asked about spraying the PAT and she assured me they do it. And yes, they did, and yes, it looks great. :)
There's not a lot of exposed metal there, but they took...
I wonder if you couldn't "bump" the door closed the extra little bit that maybe it needs?
It reminds me of the ignition lock on my Tundra... If I'd backed into a space and the steering wheel wasn't dead center, sometimes the steering wheel would have a little pressure one way or another and...
Yeah, when I got down and really looked closer at it, it does seem like it's "by design" to be floppy in that lower corner. However, it just looks wrong. :) That and the fact that the front right one had the corner kind of folded in funny made me wonder.
Maybe the dealer did something on that...
Okay, so I just got my brand spankin' new 2025 F150 PB and noticed this same thing on both front wheel liners. I was sitting there looking at it and trying to figure out "okay, well this clearly isn't correct. Where should that sheet metal screw actually attach to?"
I couldn't see anything...
Good to know... I haven't taken my Ecoflow DP3 camping with me yet but I've used it at home a couple times for outages and it's amazing what that little fella can do to power almost all the loads in the house (minus the biggies like an electric oven/dryer).
I got mine when there was a bundle...
:) I'm on board with that. Now that I'm thinking it over more, having the Ecoflow for primary use makes more sense anyway. I only need 120V @ 30A service which this can easily handle. Occasional coffee brewing, microwave, and AC if the need arises for short periods.
I was planning out a rebuild...
Thanks for all the detailed info. This will (and has) help me figure out my plans for camping. Sounds like I'll be better off sticking with my original plan of bringing along my Ecoflow (a Delta Pro 3) for regular usage, but the cool part is that I shouldn't need to bring along my Honda...
