Another build delay

As per my window sticker, today was suppose to be the blend date for my XLT. Have gone from initial build week of 11/7 to 11/14, 11/21 and then this week 11/28. Today I received their standard form letter about supply chain issues, blah, blah, blah. Don’t have a clue when it really will be built. Anyone else with current or recent build weeks receiving this letter?

That is a standard email. Everyone gets it every 45 days. Don’t worry about it if you have a blend date and sticker. You should be worried about a chip hold. Ask all of us in august build weeks that are still in production. Let alone we were all bumped numerous build weeks. I moved 6 times. Seems like the my23 guys are getting it easier. I think you will be ok. Good luck with your build and hopefully it goes fast and smoothly.

Got the same email today. Build week was 11/21 and had already received my window sticker.

Surprise, surprise! Just got an e-mail this morning stating my truck has been built with expected delivery January 11th to 17th. Build date was 11/21 with a blend date of 11/23.

Someone else recently mentioned they received the 45 day email the day after they received an email stating their truck was built. Sounds like there may be an issue with the check for no updates within the past 45 days prior to that auto generated email being sent.

The day after I received the email about supply shortages for my truck I checked the website and found that approximately 900 modules had been populated for my truck and an “in production” date of 12/3/22 had been added to the timeline. Go figure. I guess it’s being built after all. I’ll take it ?

Sucks but nothing new. Every manufacturer has some sort of problem like this.

After NINE MONTHS and SIX “rescheduled build dates” they finally built and shipped my truck and I never… NEVER herd a peep from Ford the entire time.
