Every week is another delay from Ford

That's what I thought too, hence my "in production" truck is stuck there, and my 2nd order is continuously delayed too. I've seen a F150 Lightning thread here where they mention that FMC is now actually NOT adding those running boards as options any longer.

I asked for exterior color changing 3weeks ago, just received the confirmation for color change from Ford yesterday, but still waiting for the VIN and scheduling date...I was told wait around 5-6months to get my truck delivery on January when I placed the order, but it seems it will not be on time.

Since this thread is alive again, I thought I would share the quickness of my dates getting pushed.

Ordered 1/15.

Got an email on 4/14 from Ford stating my build week is 5/16
8 hours later on 4/14, got an email from Ford pushing my build date to 5/23
6 days later (4/20) got an email pushing my build date to 5/30.


Holding strong at 5/30 *fingers crossed*

I ordered same day and just got my truck on tueaday

Yup. I ordered late last year, got a VIN and scheduled pretty quick. Blend date of 1/06, received the built email from Ford 1/26 and since then it’s just been shipping delays of two weeks at a time.

Apparently my fully built Platinum has been sitting in a lot since January. Ford’s retail process is a joke.
