Am I the only one that thinks Ford needs to improve front grill designs?

F150, Ranger, and Maverick grills in my view, are some of the most unappealing in the industry. I think Ford is underestimating the importance of front grill designs on many of their vehicles. I get the fleet thing, but many folks want their vehicles to look cool too. Someone needs to get Farley to fix these shortcomings.

Yes. I own a 2023 F150 XL which I'm pretty happy with. I've seen some spy shots of the 2024 Super duty and F150 Tremor and they seem underwhelming to me. The Maverick front is a mess IMO. The Ranger is also disappointing with the RR the exception. GM has done a much better job with their new midsize pickup front designs. Even the new 2024 Explorer grill looks inferior when you compare it to other companies in the segment. The Korean co's seem to really understand the importance of front grill designs. Again, the is just my opinion on certain grill/front designs coming from Ford recently.

At least all of the F150's don't look like a big widemouth grille like the Tundras and to me they look even worse IRL.

The only large mouth grille I like is on a big rig ?

I agree there. The Toyotas are hideous.

I'm oldish lol and I think you have to be all in or all out with chrome. I don't like chrome wheels with black door handles etc.

My sport pkg has zero chrome except for the tailpipe piece that is welded on. I looked up and priced changing it out but welded is better than clamped so I lost interest once I had the BedRug and BAK Revolver X4s installed. I said to myself I'll get around to it but I probably won't.

I looked into Plasti dip, I think I'm going to go that route with my tailpipe. I've done a little research, and it seems like it lasts quite a while, and it looks like it's better looking than flat black barbecue paint. It doesn't seem like the 3.5 PB tailpip gets that hot anyway. Time will tell though.

That looks much better than my 2023 and the 2024 Tremor grill. I stand corrected on the 2024 base XL. That looks pretty good.

Where are my wicked DRL's? Why can't they keep what's good? I see a fleet vehicle with yellow accent lights to make me feel better for overpaying.

Looks close to same with the 2024 Tremor. It will look a little better all painted to match but I'm not fond of the wide grille look with sunken headlights.

The GM above even with ridiculously large grille it's separated from headlights.

Not a fan of the grill openings shape. I agree the full size GM above is hideous. They did a much better job with their midsize.

Looking at the 24 Tremor I think Ford decided not to win the "My grill is bigger" contest and went the other direction. Improved sightlines over the hood and a more racing inspired look. I want to see over my hood but I also need to see downrange so give me lights please!

It's a look that it's growing on me. Definitely need to change something on my Lariat grille. Thinking of the tremor style stripe. I really like the orange on dark colors. Not so sure about it with rapid red. Thinking a darker color.

I agree with the sight issue. One reason I'm keeping the rake on my 2023 XL.
