Nice! Cam comes on now, no more stopping to turn it on! The cam turns off as soon as you hit the brake and goes back to main screen. Comes on again as you release and have forward motion. Anyway to set the delay to leave them on until park or gear shift (like the rear or oldstyle setting for proximaty did)?
For those times you're trying to scootch up close to something...

He's wired differently than most.
And for some reason choses to make sure others benefit from his gift. :)

I know I risk making him blush, but he leaves me no choice. Lol

I also noticed this doesn't work on my new 2022 Tremor - Seemed like it worked when I got the truck last week and then now doesn't?

What this thread shows is you either have a functional issue or a reverted IPMA setting. Do you use Forescan?

I do not use Forescan -
Gotcha. That would allow you to check for DTC’s that could be a problem. Have you manually selected and reviewed your cameras in Sync to make sure they all work? If they do, best case scenario is you buy the OBD adapter and update the setting unless you want to go to a dealer. It is the best $60 you can spend on your truck!

if they don’t, then you’ve got to check DTC’s. Options being dealer, autoparts store, a generous forum member who can see your vehicle history, or go to Amazon and buy the Forescan OBD tool.

@brett_g I have PTS. If you provide me your VIN, I can check your DTC's as long as you have your Fordpass set up.

Your truck has been throwing out some codes consistently, one being a camera module and losing communication with the BCM and APIM. I am not a technician, so I can't say this is the reason why, but you do have some DTC's that are conducive with possible camera issues.

However, upon months of checking people's trucks and my own, these trucks are CONSTANTLY spitting out DTC codes even when the truck seems to be working 100% fine. I stopped checking my own DTC's because I was just getting in my own head looking at them. lol Before I take it to the dealer, I would get the OBDII tool, download FORscan and see if the camera setting Jesse just described can be changed as per his instructions. If you go in there and see you already have the "B" in that line and not the "3", then you can consider a trip to the dealer. Either way, there are some cool mods you can do to your truck with FORscan and more coming out as people discover them, so it is good to have anyway.

Awesome, thanks. Just ordered a cable off Amazon. Will get into the FORscan stuff this weekend to check.

Excellent post!

And yea, looking at the DTC's on these trucks can be like looking at the Event Viewer in Windows for the first time. ?

WTHeck? How can my brand new laptop/computer have this many warnings and errors? Yet everything seems to be fine.

My 2022 KingRanch Powerboost has one DTC in the pcm that I introduced by removing the louvers in front of the Intercooler. So I ignore. :)

My SCCM (steering column control module) throws a DTC that returns every time I clear it. In FDRS, when tested, it states configuration error. I don't think the typical routine for fixing it worked. (I think I have PMI'd it in the past) But I just ignore it because there's ZERO evidence that I can see of any problem that results from it.

I figure someday someone else will post about a similar SCCM issue and someone like Jesse will help them, and WALLA! I now know what to do.

Yup. My truck has been throwing "driver side LED" and "driver seat control module" codes since I got it a year ago. It's throwing the same camera code @brett_g truck has in the screenshot I posted, yet my cameras work fine. Go figure.
