I've done a bunch of the updates via FDRS (huge thanks to @rugedraw and @Jesse-Infotainment for their constant support and help). I am currently on version 23031 revision 713 and have the full screen Android Auto finally. But I don't seem to have the camera while driving.

Is there a setting I need to adjust? I wasn't able to find it.

I'm like you. @Ford Motor Company screwed us over on the updates with no fix other than doing it ourselves. I just received 4.2.1 and the cameras while in motion and the trailer sticker update was NEVER pushed out to me. Truly pathetic.

Chaos.

dnand has a Lariat and Jonas101?

I have an XLT and my cameras work while driving since the last update. I'm not sure which update I have but I know the cameras never worked while driving before the last update.

As far as the trailer stickers go... mine came with both stickers and a module. The stickers didn't work (maybe they will now) but the module did and it works great so I've never bothered to try the stickers since the update.

I'm assuming we all have 2021 models and if my XLT has more capabilities than a Lariat, that's just B.S.!

I wanted the Lariat and was fully willing to PAY for the Lariat but it wasn't available in a RCSB so I loaded up with as many options as allowed to get as close to the Lariat as possible.

I'd say "I'm glad I didn't pay the extra for the Lariat" BUT there are A LOT of "Lariat" options I had to forsake to get the RCSB.

So no... I'm NOT glad I didn't get the Lariat but someone who paid for an XLT shouldn't have options that someone who paid for a Lariat doesn't!

Except the amazing turning radius, great ground clearance off road and ability to park in tiny parking spots.

From convo's I have had with Jesse about this is, it can be fixed but there is no one way to do it. Every truck that got skipped over updates needs to be looked at individually to see what needs to be done to fix it. It goes way beyond the scope of knowledge of most people here on how to do it.

It's really crazy how hard they've made this and put the onus on the owners and experts like you, Jesse and others to figure it out.

Paying this much for something and having to deal with these problems is crazy.

Oh, I'm no expert. I'm just a car salesman. lol The other guys here are in the software industry. Everything I have learned, I have learned from them, from dealing with issues on my own truck and from helping people in the forums.

I believe if memory serves me right you go into the APIM and enable the CHMSL camera while in motion.

I haven't been here in a while but am familiar with Forscan.

Is this camera in motion thing you guys are talking about different from the Forscan change where you can have the front camera on past like 5mph in snow/sand mode?

Or was there an update that allows just regular old 360 camera to he on while driving?

Sorry for being out of the loop.

Usually most people are talking about the having the rear camera display on the screen while you are driving. This can be used in place of a proper digital rear view mirror if your bed is loaded and rear vision blocked.

At least that is what I wish for. I am getting an ARE Topper so that makes rear vision even harder without a camera. I think I will end up getting something like a Wolfbox 900 to add a dash cam and digital rearview mirror capability.

It's 360 cam up to 7 mph, then rear cam over that speed. That's how the feature works if the Off-Road version isn't changed in the IPMA to Tremor/Raptor.

I think I'm in the same boat.
22 XLT.
Software is the latest for Sync.
I DO NOT have the 360 camera package, but I do have the button for the rear camera. This camera only works under 7 MPH and kicks back to the original screen I was on when over until I fall below 7 and the camera kicks back on.
If this is changed with Forscan, I can do that. Just need to know what I have to change.

I’m not even sure if I’m telling you right as I just installed the 360 camera package without the CHMSL. The change I told you is for that camera which I don’t have. But, it activates my back camera at any speed so I’m happy and will leave it alone.

OK, I have a tremor and made the change that allows sand/snow off-road mode to allow the front camera at any speed.

The rear camera would be nice as well. Is that not possible with the changes I've done?

My bed camera works at all speed, but I think they all always did that.
