I took the Brink wheels for weight and money savings. 295/65/20 Nitto Ridge Grappler +18 offset. 2.5 inch level.

1.5 inch leveling kit (motofab) and 275/60r20 toyo open country at3. Wanted to stick with stock size and p rated to keep as much fuel efficiency from the powerboost. I drive Mostly paved roads but encounter winter snow storm driving in Canada with some logging roads and muddy/snowy fields for hunting and fishing on the weekends. I had my eyes set in the toyos but couldn’t find many pictures of the 275/60r20 p rated tires. Most pics are LT rated which are more aggressive side wall and slightly deeper treads (which do look better just weight more so not for what I’m looking for)

I’m surprised there’s not more guys running 305/55R20 Ridge Grapplers in the XL rating. I think this tire is about 10 lbs lighter than the LT. would like to hear opinions.

Been running with 34's (295/60R20) Toyo AT3's for 10 months with 2" level. My PB avg. has been around 10-12l/100km or 20-22 MPG highway (+125km/hr or +75MPH) slower I do get better. Around town and less than 90km/hr speeds, my PB has been avg'ing 7.5 to 9L/100km or (26 to 31 MPG).

Hi, Are those tires LT? Is yes, what psi you are running those? I have LT285/55/r22 and I am barely getting 13l/100 combined. Pure city sometimes can be around 11.5l/100 and highway it gets worse.

When I upgrade my Powerboost I am going for whatever the new version of the General Grabber ATs is. About 7 years ago when I was shopping for ATs for my 09 Tundra a salesperson steered me to them AWAY from pricier options. They were 2-300 less installed than the top names. They did EVERYTHING well... snow rated, great wet/dry/snow traction, and hugged the road well. Worst you could say about them is they had a noticeable hum to them on the highway but it was far outweighed by them excelling at everything else all year round. Still probably had 2 more years of use in them at 60K when I got rid of the truck. Previous versions of other brands I'd tried were 50K tires tops, MAYBE 60. Never more than that.

I guess I'm just old school? I use the stock Hankooks for normal driving and my Bridgestone Blizzaks for winter.
We have 100° summers and snowy\icy roads in winter.
Last winter I think we set a record at -11°.
I have a stack of tires for different seasons for all cars\trucks (all on their own rims). Top 4 go in tmrw for powder coating, bottom 4 are my Blizzaks.

I did the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus 275/65R20 116H - lighter and taller tire than most.

General Grabbers are my first option when I replace these crap ATs on my '21. I had a set in the stock size on my 09 Tundra. Rode reasonably well, excellent braking, wet, dry, and snow traction, always wore evenly with 5-6K mile rotations. 850 installed and were the most genuine "DO IT ALL WELL" tires I ever had on a truck. I am sure the newest version is considerably more now but they are first on my list.

I was looking at doing those tires in that size as well. Do you have a pic of your setup you can share?

I like that tire a lot. Got us through a winter trip across the USA and back through some nasty stuff. And barely shows any wear at about 10K miles. I took off a set of Grabber AT/X's and put the Pirellis on. Much quieter but still plenty of beef.

I’m really impressed with how well the hankooks are wearing and their traction. Truck went thru it’s first Michigan winter and after reading all the negatives about the hankooks I was surprised at how well they did. Honesty with 4wd I don’t see a need at this point for winter tires. ?‍♂

I agree. There are die hard tire guys that will swap out tires to drop 8 lb total weight or get better traction in snow when they live in Arizona, LOL...
But I think Ford learned it's lesson with Firestone and the Explorer years ago. They're not going to go with the crap tire as default anymore.
I live in Spokane Valley Washington and Coeur d'Alene Idaho. It's currently 92° today and we have Sub-Zero winters.
In all honesty people with studded snow tires can still crash their car.....
A lot of it comes down to the driver.
