Thanks! I’ll look at that but going to pick up an AMG tomorrow just to keep with what the truck has stockDid you reset the BMS when you changed the battery? A few ways to do this, including via Forscan.
FWIW, there are a few battery types the BMS (for lack of better language at the moment) can be set to. I don't recall now, but a non-AGM is likely possible.

Something drained the original AGM battery. Put an OEM equivalent battery back in and make the dealership do the warranty work on your 2023. That would be my plan going forward. No I didn’t. Hell, I didn’t even know I needed to reprogram anything just to change a battery, that’s lunacy to me. But everything works, except for the tailgate. I rebooted the module, still nothing. Truck tells me tailgate ajar, it’s locked up tight. So back to the dealer we go
That’s what I meant. An equivalent AGM and the dealer owes you the rest.Yea, I couldn’t get my original ford battery back, but I bought a new Interstate AGM battery, seems to have solved the discharging issue the truck was having. So I’ll let the dealer work the tailgate problem under warranty
