Ok so the easiest way for you is to just make a harness from the ACC straight to the IPMA.

What trim do you have?
Ooohhhh I see what you’re saying now. I have a 301A. I’ve run the wires already. So keep old harness on. Hook up radar Plug custom harness into radar. I’m good to go! Correct?

Yes, leave the front harness alone.

Run the four wires from the IPMA under the dash on the drivers side directly to the Cruise Control Module in the bumper.

Even if you use the "new" front bumper harness you bought it won't work. You would have to run wires from under the passenger side dash to the IPMA. So either way you are making a harness.

Thank you! Makes perfect sense now.

Anything I should test before putting everything back together tonight? Don’t think I’ll have a chance to mess with forscan tonight unless I need to before hooking everything back together.

No, not really. You’ll know if your harness is good when you enable ACC in the IPMA and APIM. Once those changes are made, you need to power off the ignition and then essentially restart FORScan and do not use a stored profile by answering no when offered. FORScan will then completely re-learn all installed modules including the CCM if your connections are good. At that point, you can complete the FORScan changes to implement ACC.

Did you use RTV? For those types of penetrations, you can use a self-bonding silicone stretch tape to bundle the wires where they'll be resting through the firewall. Once they're in-place, you can protect them either side by running the loom up to the penetration. No additional sealants needed. It's removable as well. This stuff, you can buy it walmart / HD / etc...

Great stuff. I decided to give it a try by layering this stuff on both sides in addition to filling the split loom with silicon. Can’t be too cautious when dealing with critters and water. Pretty cool how it bonds together.

I’m going to call it a night. I can’t get past this. Been researching where to find it and no luck.

edit: figured out I needed to click configure and started saving as builds. I’m watching a beginners video and they mention saving like 3 of the as builds. Am I doing that or all of them? I couldn’t find the PAM one that they were mentioning. I’m going to try and do some research before messing with it again. Thanks everyone for their help.

I'm just about to add it since I discovered it the other day. Hard to say though since you have a 22 so I'd be curious if it works in yours right away. 23s have the latest IPMA software while 21-22s are just about to get updates right now, so hard to say if you need latest versions in both the APIM and IPMA or what the minimum requirements are there.
Actually, I did some research using Forscan and accessed the simple APIM configuration just to see if it mentioned anything close to Predictive Speed Assist and found nothing. So, I decided to wait for the anticipated software update you mentioned that might include it. Until then, I'm going to hold off on making that change.

That said, I would like to find a way to have the IACC menu option so I can turn off the intelligent part if I deem it necessary. As I mentioned before, all I have is ACC. From others who have posted photos of their Cruise Control driver assist menus, they have an additional option just below ACC that mentions IACC on/off. I have double checked my settings against the "spreadsheet" and also looked through all the simple configurations and did not find anything wrong/missing. Any clues?

Alright, backed everything up. Opened forscan, when it asked if I wanted to choose a previous profile I clicked no, it did a fresh scan. Didn’t see “CCM”. I’m assuming that means I didn’t install it correctly? I was guessing my connections into that actual module as they didn’t “click” in. Not sure if there is something special to doing that? Assuming I can drive the vehicle as is? My wife isn’t going to be happy if I take another day to pull off the front again.

You have to make the changes to the APIM and IPMA modules per the spreadsheet first. Then do a re-scan and the module should be present if your connections are good. In fact, make all the changes one module at a time except the CCM module which won't show initially. Make sure you "write all" each time you change a module. Then do your re-scan and you should find the CCM module at which time you can enter the VIN number shown at the end of the spreadsheet. You should expect to see DTCs. Don't worry about them initially. Once you get all changes made and written, then go back and clear the DTCs.

Started doing it. What happens if some things aren’t correct. For instance on the spreadsheet it’ll mention change 4 to a 9 or a A to a C. What happens if mind isn’t a 4 or a A? Do I still need to make those changes?

You need to make the changes based on your truck's configuration. Look at your as built values and only alter the values that enable the features that you are looking to add.

I too had one or two differences between what the spreadsheet says and what my truck had in those locations. So I went on autotrader.com and found several trucks that were optioned close to mine with ACC. The VINs are usually listed on the site. Then I went to motorcraftservice.com like I stated before and put those VINs in and downloaded the module values for those trucks and compared them to mine. From that you should be able to confidently make changes that are correct for your truck. The spreadsheet may not be completely appropriate for your truck.

Any way to check to see if the CCM connections are correct? Are those supposed to click in like they did at the IPMA? I tried but I could still pull them out. I may try again tonight but I need to disassemble the front again I guess. Any harm in just going back to original in forscan? I may do that and try again in about 3 weeks. 4 hours of sleep last night isn’t doing me any good.

You'll get there. On the CCM 8-pin connector, make sure you look carefully at the PIN numbers. They're only numbered on the back cover. Look at the annotated photo attached. You also have to disassemble the connector like the other photo. The red part is like the white part on the IPMA connector that you had to remove in order to insert the pins... it's a retainer and the pins won't snap in unless you first remove it. Did you get a crimper for the pins? They're awfully small and if you have the slightest bulk in the area where you attached the wire, it won't seat properly. And you're not bothering us. We're here to share what we know. Good luck.
