Ok guys, I have ordered and gotten almost all my parts for this, except for custom harness stuff. I don’t have the four wires from the radar sensor to dash. I know it’s 22 gauge, but what terminals do I need for each end? I have seen pigtails, but would rather crimp on the correct terminals and insert into the oem plugs. Would like to order from Amazon so I can have them this weekend.

There’s a good chance you won’t even know which connectors you need by this weekend. Most of these mods are still so new that there aren’t readily available parts lists for them.

Search back through this thread and it’s all there. The pigtail for the CCM is available and so is a terminal “kit” that has pre-crimped leads to insert into the IPMA connector.

CCM Connector
WPT-1198

IPMA Connector terminals
DU2Z-14474-CA x4

I would order them straight from fordparts.com if you want them this weekend, more expensive yes but if they have them in stock you get them next day.

Here is all the different harnesses, so your -JA isn't going to work at all. You need one labeled with adaptive speed control. From what I can tell, the harness are the same between a ecoboost and powerboost, so no difference there, which makes sense as that would be just one more different harness(es) for Ford to produce if they were different.

@superfordman Can you provide some guidance where you saw this list with all the variations? I was trying to dig deep in to these harnesses and the differnt IMPAs and there are so many combos of each

It's the actual part descriptions straight from Ford, microcat. The IPMAs are a different story and there are numerous different part numbers now by the looks of it.

Awesome thread, evident the hundreds and hundreds of hours put into this.

Curious if anyone with a Lightning is know to have tried this? I've got a 22 Pro (with 360 cam and tow tech) and confirmed I've got the 4 wires to the bumper harness.

Don't see why it wouldn't, exact same system pretty much. The lightning might have a few different quirks and changes here and there but overall should be very similar in every aspect.

Another F150 Lightning owner here looking to add Co-pilot assist. I have a 23 XLT with the 311A package and tow technology package. I already have 360 cameras and parking sensors along with lane keep. I'm hoping to get lane centering and ACC.

From what I can tell, I need the following:

Sensor Assembly: ML3Z-9E731-G
Mounting Bolts(3x): W720714S450B

This is where I loose confidence... As I already have the park aid sensors, do I also need: ML3Z-15K867-MA? I've read through this thread, and while there is a lot of information I'm not sure what pertains to my vehicle as it's a bit different build than a standard F150. Any information from someone with a similar build would be very much appreciated.

You will need a ML3Z-15K867-NA. The MA is LED fog lights with front radar. You will need a MA which is for led fog lights, front park sensors and front radar.

Of course this could be different on a lightning but I would think the harnesses would be the same.

Thank you! The lightning doesn't have front fog lights, but I'm guessing that won't be an issue, I'll just need a plug for those.

I am trying to do the same research... But I confuse the issue a bit more in that I have a XLT 302A which is being built(I assume no front parking sensors since I didn't get cameras). But I bought a IPMA out of 2021 platinum that I would love to leverage the 6 front sensors get the full automated parking experience so I really think I want to go all in on the platinum harness. But looking at the 2023s that came with 360 cameras the only get 4 sensors so I am guessing I would have to do more work to get it back through the firewall. I do know the vin the IPMA came out of - 1FTFW1ED3MFA59332 so just need to dig in further into electrical digrams

Update for the Nav delete guys.
This week I swapped my APIM with a 22my APIM with Nav. After copying my As Builts onto the New (to me) APIM and going on a short trip, I can confirm that IACC and Traffic Jam Assist are now both working beautifully. The challenging part is just finding a 22MY APIM with Nav. Those are very few and far between.

Awesome! Glad to see, like said before I think we all knew 99% that was the issue, just no one had swapped one yet. So yet another thing fixed that Ford deleted and should have been there from the get go.
