added Qi charger to STX

I got kind of spoiled when rding in my wifes car (2023 Tuscon SEL). It has the builtin charging mat. SO I decided to add one when I came across this one on amazon.
I made asmall hole under it to get the cord into the console and anothe rin the one below then routed it up into the forward cubby area.

Working so far, I'll see how well it works long run. But I've only got $22 in the whole deal

Awesome, the irony I see in your post, wifes Hyundai Tucson has one, a $50K STX doesnt....weird world we live in.
These should come with wireless charger and push button start.

Yeah the Tuscon was $33K before our friends and family discount, that knocked off 4K.
Way more features. AWD, rear A/C control, you can even see your tire pressures while driving. I can't believe Ford doesn't provide such basic info. Actually you can see power at each wheel too, though if I'm in situation where I'm using all wheel drive, not going to be starring at a display.

It has autopilot but I am forbidden to engage it.

Where are you seeing tire pressures while moving. I have to be in park. maybe they changed it since 22

I think we got it with our new 2024 digital dashes across all trims. We also get the sweet Measurements screen to monitor engine coolant temp, transmission temp, engine oil temp, and battery voltage simultaneously in our peasant trim trucks. Let us eat cake.

My charging solution is a $4.49 USB-c to Lighting cable from Amazon. I had Qi in my last ride, and it just took too damn long to charge.

My '23 STX doesn't allow me to view oil life or tire pressure while driving. Extremely stupid on Ford's part there... Yet we're allowed to mess with the 12" screen while driving that comes standard on all trims now.

Same on my 22 STX. I have to go to vehicle maintenance then tire pressure.
But as soon as I start to move, maybe 2 mph I get this. Sad thing is it took more coding to monitor motion and display the message then it did to just let it show.

Yup! Makes no sense. Every other vehicle with tire pressure monitoring available on the cluster let's you see it.

I agree with the oil light. Also alot of stuff doesn't work on the 12 inch screen while driving.
