“Factory location” probably isn’t a good way to think about this. The factory sub included on the B&O setups is a bizarre little plastic box that vents directly to the outdoors. It goes in the middle opening here:

That said, there is room behind the rear seats for a very small enclosure in a SuperCrew, but watch your depth. I had this JL powered sub in my Lariat. It just barely fit behind the seat. And I do mean barely; the grille on the sub got dented by the seat.

You can see the dent in the above pic, that’s how tight it was. Before purchasing this, I looked up the dimensions of the enclosure and made a mockup from cardboard to see if it would fit. If you do this, remember to check the fit with the seat folded up if you want to retain that functionality. I made the mistake of not checking this, and was not able to fold my seat with the sub in place.

Our trucks do have a ridiculous amount of rear leg room. If you don’t mind losing a couple inches of that, you can buy yourself some room behind the seats with a kit like this one from MTI.
Yeah if I did do something I'd wanna keep ability to use seats.
That is pretty neat I had no idea they had something like that. I knew you could lift a seat but didn't know they sold kits to move up.

I used a low profile sub/amp in my 2011 SCAB shoved behind rear seat back. Tight fit but it was a great addition to that truck. I'm no audiophile though just wanted to fill the void of no bass with factory system. Cutting away some of the foam on outside wall can help gain an inch of space.

Is that the one you had. Did it sound decent. If I do end up putting something I don't mind spending the money I just wanna make sure it sounds decent.

Added nice level of bass and I was happy with it. They don't make the model I used anymore. It might not work as well in a supercrew.

You also have the Ford option.

I'll have to find measurements and measure behind seat and all. I dunno even if I'll end up going that route it's definitely far down on my list I'm just getting ideas and all cuz I prolly will eventually do it.
Not sure if I'd wanna go the ford option everyone says it doesn't sound too good

The OEM sub is a simple integrated piece, that's backed by Ford warranty. Most people want more than just a small add on sub. They want window shaking, which why most aren't pleased. Now just to add, sure, simple integration.

yes ran all new harness from stock HU to amp, also from SoundsGoodStereo.
But they may have an easier solution, as I ran all new speakers etc, if you want just a sub amp and subs, they can make iot for you.

Yes, eat folds back up and down, no issues. Why I chose this combo, can still use all room under the seat.
