Yeah if I did do something I'd wanna keep ability to use seats.“Factory location” probably isn’t a good way to think about this. The factory sub included on the B&O setups is a bizarre little plastic box that vents directly to the outdoors. It goes in the middle opening here:

That said, there is room behind the rear seats for a very small enclosure in a SuperCrew, but watch your depth. I had this JL powered sub in my Lariat. It just barely fit behind the seat. And I do mean barely; the grille on the sub got dented by the seat.

You can see the dent in the above pic, that’s how tight it was. Before purchasing this, I looked up the dimensions of the enclosure and made a mockup from cardboard to see if it would fit. If you do this, remember to check the fit with the seat folded up if you want to retain that functionality. I made the mistake of not checking this, and was not able to fold my seat with the sub in place.
Our trucks do have a ridiculous amount of rear leg room. If you don’t mind losing a couple inches of that, you can buy yourself some room behind the seats with a kit like this one from MTI.
That is pretty neat I had no idea they had something like that. I knew you could lift a seat but didn't know they sold kits to move up.
