I dunno. I don’t think changing it there will work as it requires changes in multiple modules. So will it not show up in forscan if the hardware isnt there? This is mine under SCCM module

Then start backing up and hacking away!Yeah it’s finds all those modules and the addresses are in each module.
Can you send me a screen shot of your HCM values? I would like to see if there is something new compared to the earlier trucks.OK @ROBB1 good sir
I gave it a whirl with my 2022 April build to see if I could answer the recent hardware compatibility question.
I used the edited post of yours early in this thread.
1. APIM edit immediately resulted in Glare Free Option in Sync
2. IPMA edit would not write until I downloaded the current version. (I was running 1 version earlier and using the Mongoose adapter. After upgrading Forscan, IPMA edit wrote with no issue)
3. I used the HCM value you listed for longbed with/CCD & Scales. I continue to throw a DTC in the HCM

I get this dash prompt after the truck is started and the headlights go through their calibration routine

When driving down a very dark road when I reach 35mph the highbeams behave exactly as they did previous to any Forscan editing.
No worries. I'm not panicking or anything but am willing to follow any suggestions. I cycled the Glare Free setting a few times as well as reset and cleared DTC from HCM. But it returns at each ignition cycle.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions
First, thanks! Can you send me a screen shot of your HCM values? I would like to see if there is something new compared to the earlier trucks.
I see in the image that the IPC high beam indicator is still the white auto highbeam vs. the green glarefree. Did the IPC change write without issue?
It looks like you were one digit off on the change for 734-01-02 in the HCM:First, thanks!
And I should update you that after resetting IPC module I do get the green headlight icon instead of the white. So progress!
However, still get the warning message on startup and the DTC in the HCM
Here's what you were asking for good sir

The good news is I covered the light sensor on the dash this morning and turned the headlights on and got the green indicator.

It’s incredibly easy to do. Nothing to be embarrassed about.Ummmm.
How embarrassing. ??
Thanks again
You give me hope! So you can tell a difference? All is well. It's really an amazing technology on my dark rural roads.
Again, I don't know for certain if my 4/11 build is Job1 or Job2, but it definitely still has the Glare Free hardware onboard.![]()
