Ok love the 3.73 in mine. I have no issues getting up to speed even with regular throttle input. Passing on the highway with ease with a little downshift and jump in rpm. But then I watch the mpg gauge plummet but I also get to hear the glorious v8 I only average 17 on my normal non highway drive to and from work
Around town and stop & go the MPG nose dives. But on the highway it does great.

This is my first Ford pickup and bought this pickup for towing a motorcycle trailer and travel trailer. Interested to see MPG towing an aerodynamic 4900 pound travel trailer after passing 1,000 miles break-in period. Plan to experiment matching best speed and gear for terrain & MPG.

Took the F-150 in for warranty work and they gave me a 2024 XLT 5.0L with factory dual exhaust for a loaner. I almost forgot how sweet the V-8 sounds with nice exhaust system. The loaner seemed to get a little better MPG around town if I could manage to keep my foot out of it when listening to the V-8. :)

5.0 w/ 3.73 is by far in my opinion the best powertrain they offer. My mileage has been awesome since day 1, and it goes like an angry swarm of bees out of hell when i push on the gas.

But maybe a godzilla powerboost 250 for me in the future

I wouldn't trust the computer unless you have calibrated the AFE bias. The bias inflates the actual mileage higher than it really is.
Yep, true story… I always hand calculate my mileage with the Fuelly app and the actual MPG averages about 1.5 less than the truck display. But that being said, I also have a 5.0 with 3.73s and on long highway trips I get about 22 MPG depending how I drive.
