A/C Blower Not Working

Hello Powerboost Owners,

So my a/c stops blowing out any air after an extended idle. It did it twice in the past two months so I finally took it this morning to the dealership. So a little background on my truck I purchased it back in May 2023 and I'm at 2900 miles currently. No other issues so far with the truck. I dropped it off at 7am with the dealership and they called me at 10:30 am that the blower was bad and they are going to replace it and it should be ready by 5pm later today.

Anyone else here have a/c blower issues when idling?

Nothing to report. It functions as it should regardless if idle or otherwise. I do keep my fan on setting 5 though due to the 12v charge strategy.

Got my truck back they replaced the blower motor control module and the blower motor. I let it idle for 30 minutes with the a/c running and no loss of air flow.

I had this happen once. I turned off the truck, restarted and the air came back on. Symptom was you could hear the blower motor, but felt no air coming out of the vents.

I have the same issue of the AC motor being temperamental, as explained above. I will monitoring other replies but will bring to dealer in the next month; where is the capacitor and how can we check? Thanks.

Based on further forum checking I see this is a wide spread issue.

Same thing happened to me. So after the 3rd time it happened I took it to the dealer and it was repaired in one day.

It looks like it could be a wide spread issue I agree. The good thing is it's a simple fix for the dealership and you can get your truck back in a few hours granted they have the part in stock.
