Just recently my front passenger door lock sensor hasn’t been reacting to touch for lock/unlock. I took it in to the dealer and went to pick it up today as they replaced the door handle. They said they tried it like 10 times and it worked every time but when I tried it the door would not unlock or lock. So they kept it and still checking it out. I told the service writer about the battery issues I’ve read about here and I guess we’ll see. The tech said it threw no codes. The drivers side works great every time.

I just went through this with a friend's truck.... 100% is a low battery (kind of), and / or you need to reset your BMS using ForScan and drive the truck around for like 30 minutes. My friend let's his truck sit a lot (like several days to a week at a time, and then drives it on only short trips of about 5-15 minutes). Had the same problem you are experiencing.

Also, if you have tried charging your battery you MUST put the negative connection on the top of the BMS sensor (where the pic below says "alternate connection"). If you put the battery charger on the battery posts themselves the BMS (battery management system) will not detect that the battery was charged and will still think the battery is low and deactivate the passenger door lock sensor (and other things). A tell tale sign that your truck thinks the battery is low (which is set at 80% if you look in ForScan) is when you turn the truck off the infotainment screen immediately says something like "turning off the system to save battery".

Thanks for the info. I passed it on to the dealership and they did the reset. All good now.
