Assuming you have a 36 gallon tank, the difference per tank is about $13. Personally I'm willing to pay that difference to not have to worry about it.
Yeah that's kind of what I'm leaning towards at least until I move back towards sea level where I can get better gas for cheaper. Fuck Colorado.

Ethanol damages rubber fuel lines and carburetor parts which is why it is not used on boat engines. The cars and trucks that can safely use ethanol have had modifications done to them to limit any damage.

For my part corn should be used to feed people of which we have many in the USA that go to bed hungry each night. I wouid never buy E85 fuel for that reason alone.

Corn is of no nutritional value, you can get your panties out of their knot. Corn as a whole is a man made crop, wild corn is not edible. It’s better as gas than food.

Yes and no, but it's high in carbs and gives us cheap fake sugar corn syrup.

The fact that the nation produces too much corn and we support farmers continuing to produce too much corn is how we got ethanol mandated into fuel.

I'm not opposed to ethanol but I'd rather it be only used for E85+ and kept out of regular gas pumps.

I've already seen major gas stations with stickers on all pumps that they are pumping only E15 now. I can't use that in my lawnmower or motorcycle and I'm not sure about my Ecoboost. First generation I'm fairly sure was labeled E10 max.

I decided long time ago the benefits to how much stronger the truck "feels" with 93 combined with the increased gas mileage made it worth it to me. Sure I do pay a little more filling up but in a year it doesn't add up to much difference.

I love corn in my Turbo charged vehicles.
Prefer not to have it in my NA vehicles.
And disdain it in my motorcycles and tools.

Having said that, if folks in America are going to bed hungry, I'm at a loss why. I watch one of the mother's of some of my grandchildren work "the system". (Cuz she can't hold a job)
I love her, but she ain't that bright, yet that "household is never without food. Nor would I let them miss a single meal.
I'd prefer they ate healthier, but that's another story.

It's got nutritional value. Not sure if there's a crop today that's not been a product of man's influence. Regardless, ethanol's adoption and why it's even present in fuel today is a lie. It's also twice as expensive to make as gasoline (it's also produced with fossil fuels and production price increases with diesel costs). I'd rather see the fields used for food stuffs including animal feed allowing fuel and food prices to adjust accordingly. A decent read on it https://www.forbes.com/sites/michae...-is-cheaper-than-gasoline-well-5-of-the-time/

So the native Americans invented corn?! I never knew that!
They were eating corn before the Europeans showed up.
IIRC, they used to grow a majority of their food in what they called the "three sisters." Beans planted with corn (and I forget the third). But then again, I guess they were savages/wild men, so they could eat wild corn.

You can eat it, but it didn’t offer much, it’s on the left. Enjoy.

93 is pretty tough to find here. But it exists. I did find a major retailer has 91 octane ethenol free and e85 at the same pump. So it's pretty easy to make 93 octane e10, or 94ish octane e15.

After a tank, the next fillup I got on it some and noticed it will peg out the boost gauge :)

I have the stock wheels for my XLT. The JB4 tune could be removed easily should any dealership visits arise. The tune is conservative and Burger Motorsports (JB4) support is great IMO. Honestly if you dont want to do the E85 tune, you can do the 93 which is impressive in itself.
Ummmmm Ford reps are on here. So... ???
