8/8/2022 Build Week

My sales guy just called me. My Platinum PB is scheduled to go down the assembly line on Thursday Aug 11th. It might be 103 degrees outside in Dallas right now, but I'm breaking out a cigar and the bourbon tonight!

I’ll have a whiskey up here in NY right along with you. I got my VIN today and scheduled (fingers crossed) week of 8/15.

So after SCTYDOG got his date I had to see if I had a date. Went to ford chat and this is what I got. I believe it’s the date of 8/9/2022. Tell me if that’s what you think

Thursday bullet dodged and still on 8/8. I bet us PB people will see it happen. If not 8/8 then 8/15 at worst. Fingers still crossed.

Following the lead from 2 previous poster, I contacted ford to check on my order status. they said its scheduled to be built 08/13. does it mean it will be built for sure or is it just like any other dates that we have been getting from ford?

Dates always change. There is also a tone of issues once you hit the assembly line. There are horror stories on this forum, I haven't had the most enjoyable experience

I also checked chat, yes I know they are not always accurate nor are they fortune tellers, they said 8/14 for build date with eta of 8/26.
I would think that delivery won't be extremely long being a stone's throw away here in Milwaukee.
Either way it is better than being told that I was bumped again.

I'm curious how many of you have the window sticker that are in the 8/8 build week? I do not as of yet.

I just spoke to my dealer and the Ford chat and they both said my actual build date is 8/13. The dealership says its rare for a build date to get moved once its been set...sometimes they move up. I don't have a window sticker available yet.

When I checked yesterday, I did not yet. I’m thinking maybe next week or the week after.
