8/8/2022 Build Week

No window sticker for me yet. Chat did say I had a build date of 8/8 and anticipated delivery at Granger of 8/22 - 8/28. I do not know if that is just the generic build week of 8/8 or if it is an actual build date.

I just spoke to my dealer and the Ford chat and they both said my actual build date is 8/13. The dealership says its rare for a build date to get moved once its been set...sometimes they move up. I don't have a window sticker available yet.

Thats great to hear, I also had a chat with ford and they gave me the same build date.

That is the fastest I have ever heard for a delivery. How far from the plant are you?

I am assuming my truck is being built in Dearborn and i ordered from an Ann Arbor dealership so maybe an hour at most.

Yall are getting me so freaking excited! Unfortunately, my two 8/8 build week trucks will be going to other homes. I'm holding out for the one I ordered from Granger!

IDK, I did not ask. I assume it is Dearborn as it is a Lariat with BAP and Atlas Blue, but that is just an assumption.

Just an FYI, any delivery date they give you during a chat is not even close to true. The information they give you as a delivery date is actually the end date for your current status. For example, I spent 10 weekss on chip hold, when I would chat to get updates they would give me a delivery to dealer eta. I was actually an eta for my truck to be completed. Once I was actually in the "built" stage they would give me a delivery to dealer eta, but it was actually the eta for the end of "awaiting shipment" status. Chat is useful, you just need to be able to translate the information they give you.

Alright Blackout150, you dun got me excited so I had to check on my order. Sure enough, my baby is also scheduled to be built on 8-9 (just ahead of yours...lol). Hopefully we all start to receive window stickers soon.
