I know... it seems unreal. My sales guy's response was 'I think at this point we have to consider the possibility that corporate has just picked you as the guy they want to mess with.' Anyway, he's going to have the General Manager make some calls tomorrow to see if maybe this isn't some kind of mistake, or if they really have just punted me to the end of the year. I really hope not.

As of this morning mine also has estimated dealer delivery 12/31/2021? Not okay with me. I wonder if we have similar builds…Lariat 502a PB with 7.2kw onboard. I’m starting to think it might be the 7.2 as I’m seeing later builds at dealer with the 2.4kw

Yeah, when I think honestly about how much I've ever used any extended warranty I bought, it's making less sense to me to go to $0. The last 3 cars I never used it. Generally, all the gremlins get worked out during the 3/36 warranty. I'm buying it as protection against the high dollar failures.


My window just got bumped from 10/15-21 to 10/6-12 last night. It was still sitting in NY yesterday afternoon for the 4th day, but maybe it's moving now.

You may recall, PF and my order tracking showed that the truck was sitting in Michigan even after the truck was delivered to the dealer. When I arrived to do the purchase, I found that the VIN and order number was different than what I'd been tracking all along, even though the config and pricing was exactly the same! The dealer said "oh, we duplicated the order" so I guess I got the first one of the two that came in. The one I was tracking all along showed up at the dealership a few days after I picked up mine. Same options, color, pricing. Mystery solved. Too bad, I would have preferred to be tracking my actual truck order. But it just goes to show again that there can be mismatches between the Ford ordering system and reality.

And pals never showed anything for either vin.

So, was one a dealer order (blue window sticker) and the other a Retail Customer order (Green window sticker). Interesting if they were same order and blend dates.

It's a great day for deliveries! No less than four folks have gotten word that their dealers have received their trucks, and the next couple of days should be AWESOME for folks! Additionally, some people still waiting on shipment had their dates actually IMPROVE!

I hope folks with trucks stop in from time-to-time. I've enjoyed the fellowship of all being in the same boat while waiting for our deliveries. At very least, come back at Christmas to say 'Hi!' My truck should only be a week or two from being delivered, by then.

Pixie joins me in Super-Limbo, but Josh35 MIGHT just escape as his hypothetical date moves up.

But don't let Limbo overshadow the fact that this is a tremendous day for many... the wait is nearly over!

It's a little hard to tell. The window sticker link would work only erratically. But from what I saw they were both showing up as customer orders, with slightly different order and blend dates. The one I purchased actually had a later order date which is kind of weird. Makes me wonder if they manipulated the priority code and were working things to get me a truck and some inventory on hand.

Mine has 7.2kw as well. It MIGHT be a reason for a short scheduling or production delay but I don't see how it be a factor in that December delivery.


Quick question for everyone in the thread with Dearborn trucks, did anyone else have a 2wd truck?

Mine arrived today and I'm flying into Philly in Saturday AM to pick it up at Chapman Ford. Could not be more excited. My Ford Pass notification told me that it was activated so I called the dealer and they confirmed it was there.

No, still shows ETA 10/12. I've got a 7+ hour drive home from Horsham, PA to Raleigh, NC so I'll have plenty of time to check out the features and snap pics as I make my way home. When I checked flights yesterday they were about $125 for one way and now they are $315 b/c I'm so close to the weekend. Small price to pay I think for getting the truck this weekend and not pushing it until next week and taking a day off work.
