What level plan did you go with?Agreed I plan on going $0 through Flood or Chapman, if they will meet Flood's price, when I pick up the truck.

Mine came in last week and I have just the stickers also@someday I know you had asked elsewhere about the trailer backup assist. My truck did not have the module, and neither the sales guy nor the parts manager knew how to answer my question of if I should receive it with the truck.
I have a co-worker who received a Job 1 truck and his did include the module and wiring under the back seat. Mine came with a small package with some stickers and instructions instead.
I plan on going with PremiumCARE, $0 deductible with the rental car upgrades and Key replacement. After seeing cases where each diagnostic check can mean a new deductible I think the $0 deductible makes sense. The difference for my 8yr plan quote was $380 more for $0 deductible vs $100 deductible. While I have never purchased a vehicle service plan before I feel with all the tech on these trucks its a good idea but YMMV. The fact that you can transfer or cancel and get a portion back also helped in my decision. What level plan did you go with?
$100 every time or just until the deductible is met then it’s $0?I have heard nothing but the good things about Flood Ford. It is a Ford ESP so any dealership will take it.
About the zero deductible, the pros that I can see is every time you bring it in and they plug it in and find nothing it can cost you a hundred bucks and we have seen that a lot around here
Probably not so much under factory warranty but when that runs out the service writer wants $100 every time they pull it in a service bay
$100 is your deductible, so every time$100 every time or just until the deductible is met then it’s $0?
Think of it like a co-pay. It's every time once your out of the standard warranty$100 every time or just until the deductible is met then it’s $0?
I know... it seems unreal. My sales guy's response was 'I think at this point we have to consider the possibility that corporate has just picked you as the guy they want to mess with.'Staring at this in disbelief for the last 3 minutes
Congrats on post #1500 in this thread though. And you've got plenty of time to think about your extended warranty deductibleI know... it seems unreal. My sales guy's response was 'I think at this point we have to consider the possibility that corporate has just picked you as the guy they want to mess with.'Anyway, he's going to have the General Manager make some calls tomorrow to see if maybe this isn't some kind of mistake, or if they really have just punted me to the end of the year. I really hope not.
Circling back to this. For me the cost difference between 0 and 100 deductible is $450 using an 8 year 100k plan. That means I have to take my vehicle in 4.5 times after the 3/36 warranty expires before I break even. I can easily see how it would be possible to use the warranty plan 4-5 times after the 3/36 expires but I don't think it's a mistake to get the $100 deductible and save the $450 now, especially if you have something else you need the $450 for. I'm sure that's why there are options because different people want to bet differently on the chances that something happens. If you know who Doug DeMuro is and you know the story of his CarMax Range Rover then you'd certainly say get the $0 deductible because you'll need it. I will say that if I chose the $0 option you better bet that I'd take my truck in for every little problem after the 3/36 to take full advantage of the extended warranty I paid for. I'd likely do the same no matter what my deductible is but I'd be slower to make an appointment knowing it would cost me something.Ugh, I was trying to figure out the sweet spot on deductibles and never thought of this. Went with the $100.
I kind of feel the same way. I am leaning toward the $250 and am curious to see what my dealer is going to do on pricing.Circling back to this. Yeah, when I think honestly about how much I've ever used any extended warranty I bought, it's making less sense to me to go to $0. The last 3 cars I never used it. Generally, all the gremlins get worked out during the 3/36 warranty. I'm buying it as protection against the high dollar failures.Circling back to this. My window just got bumped from 10/15-21 to 10/6-12 last night. It was still sitting in NY yesterday afternoon for the 4th day, but maybe it's moving now.My ETA just got moved up to 10/12 from 10/19.
