My 2022 powerboost somehow got water in the under-hood Battery Junction Box(fuse panel) in early January. My dealer said they are awaiting a wiring harness to complete the fix, under warranty of course. About a month ago they were able to give me an ETA of sometime in May that they will receive the part. Five months is absolutely ridiculous and I’ve been hemming and hawing about what my options could be as far as getting out of the truck or figuring out a way to get the part quicker. They gave me an ecosport as a loaner, which is embarrassing to be seen in. Has anyone ever had any success getting ford to expedite the delivery of a part to complete warranty work? Any input is welcome.
Also, how possible would it be for my dealer to acquire a vehicle from a different dealership, not specifically Ford either, so I could then trade my truck that they already have for said vehicle? In an effort to maintain the tax credit on the new vehicle.
