5.0 - Oil Leak from the engine block -- TSB 23-2194

Can anyone post the TSB PDF? Looks like it affects 5.0 trucks built from August 2022 - April 2023. Just posted today. Any more info would be awesome!

Might be a different issue then, unfortunately they're saying august 2022 - April 2023 build dates.

Well that is certainly concerning (1/23 5.0 build). Haven't noticed or seen an issue yet, and hopefully that continues.

I have a 1/23 build as well. I don't see any oil leaks on the garage floor.

with the short block replacement, now you have a dealer assembled motor vs factory... :-/

Closely watching. Had the excessive oil consumption with the Last 5.0.

I haven’t even seen or heard of this leak, I doubt it affects many engines at all. Unless you have oil drops all over your driveway I wouldn’t get your panties in a bunch. It would be leaking from day 1 since what they describe in this TSB would have been a poorly machined mounting surface. This kind of leak starts on day 1, not over time.

Porosity in the surface, as in poorly machined. Not thin.
