400w 120v Bed Outlet doesn't power much

Surprisingly, to me, I was able to power a 4 qt crock pot on the 1 1/2 hour drive to my sister's yesterday. I had not tried to power anything but my Milwaukee charger before.

whenever I see the TV commercials with the guy running a pressure washer or whatever it is from the truck outlet while 20 feet from his garage it just cracks me up. Who does that?
I get it it if you are Bear Grylls pretending to be off the grid. but c'mon.

I also noticed that it doesn't work when 4H is engaged.

I noticed on my truck the power outlets turn off after about a minute of starting the truck. Is there a setting or program in Forscan that needs to be changed to allow it stay powered on while the truck is running?
