Hello.

2021 F150 has 4 recalls already and I’ve tried to get it fixed by my local dealer is putting me on a waitlist for parts and etc.

This includes the wiper motor, Trailer brake, tail gate random opening and control module.

Has anyone from Canada , specifically Toronto / GTA been able to successfully get them all remedied?

thanks for your input

Wiper motors are Backordered so it may be a while for that one to get fixed. The tailgate is only if you have issues from what I can tell and there is nothing to be done unless you have issues. The other 2 have been completed on mine in Manitoba.

Got everything done today except the wiper motor. None available anywhere currently, according to my ford tech. So don't drive in any rain. ;)

My trailer brake one allegedly got taken care of, but that was when guys were fighting on here arguing whether the software was actually available for the fix or not, so I have no idea.

The tailgate one is the only other one I have but it hasn’t been an issue yet. Going to wait until they reach out or my next service appointment.

I just got a recall notice for the tcu/or one of the other modules in regarding not getting OTA’s. Even tho I don’t have the truck. After the many many problems and recalls I dumped it for a Ridgeline best thing I ever did.
Can’t help ya in your situation parts are hard to get I suppose ?
I wanted to get everything done on 1 appointment as I need this truck for work everyday and without I cannot make money. They told me that the wiper motor is back ordered and my name will be on a waiting list…. This is just absurd. A brand new truck and already 4+ recalls.

I have a Lexus and over the last 10 years, I’ve had only 1 recall and it was only a minor battery replacement due to supplier issue….
The truck is nice and all but I am just not accustomed to receiving letter after letter of recalls….

Only had two recalls so far, the falling underbody insulation one (which i got taken care of) and the trailer brake one. The trailer brake one I haven't bothered with yet since I don't tow and the comments on here indicate that the fix isn't really a fix.

I had the insulation work done at the end of March, and while there they did the trailer brake recall, although as mentioned it appears as though that was done prematurely, and may need to be redone, hopefully OTA. I never had the other 2 recalls (late 21 build).

How long to get part for failing underbody insulation? Dealer has my 2021 platinum starting on 5 months and still no repair. Driveshaft does have to be replaced.

I'm sorry to hear that, I only needed to get the additional rivets in so it only took a couple of hours.

I’ve gotten 2 of the 4 recalls and 1 CSP completed. The windshield reseal and underbody insulation done when I had my oil changed. A week later I got the trailer brake recall. :cautious: Anyway, the remaining recalls/CSP aren’t a priority or no parts (wiper motor) so I’ll let them wait.

Mine done it's very first OTA update 22S17 a week ago after having it 11 month. Had it in the shop once again and they found another available Brake Module update.

US owner here. I made an appointment in January for May for the insulation issue, then I received the trailer brake and wiper motor notices. They did check the insulation in Jan. and let me know that it was not falling down and was temporarily fine. I was concerned that I would have to wait another 4 months for an appointment to do the trailer brake and wiper motor. They explained back in January that they were short on warranty techs which was the reason for the long wait time. When I called about the two new issues, they said no problem we can deal with these when you bring it in. Then I had to call and let them know I was delayed getting back into town and asked to reschedule the appointment. The service scheduler said no worries just bring it in when you get back. They were fully staffed with warranty techs by May so the timing was much better. I took it in the next week and they fixed the insulation and the trailer brake issue, but got the same info as others on the wiper motor-back ordered. Took half a day. Then I got the tailgate notice and I have not addressed that yet. I'll probably just take it in when I do the wiper motor. I am pleased with dealer response to these issues.
