We sold our 10 year old 21' cuddy four winns during covid. decided to downsize and trailer so ordered a new 2021 R180 , cost was 46,000. We loved it, but, it was small. We knew that going into it though. I thought I'd do more fishing but didn't. More leisure and cruising around. Any more than 4 people and it is cramped and uncomfortable in rough water. We boat on a very busy and strong tidal river in the northeast. So we sold the 180 last year and actually made money. Just bought a 2023 Key West dual console 23' . Would have loved the equivalent Robalo but much pricier. Absolutely get the 150 hp - thats what I had. You'll love it.

Just a little on the 4.3.3. update got notice on Saturday tried to update it on Sat and Sunday and it failed a bunch of times.
I guess weekends or maybe just Sunday are not good day for updates.
Filling up the gas today thought I would try it while I was pumping gas and it worked on the first try on Monday watched thru the window because it says not to enter or exit the truck while it is updated took about 5 mins

4.3.3 is the second file of the IPC update. 4.3.2 was the Calibration file and 4.3.3 is the strategy file for the IPC.

What do calibration and strategy mean in this context in lay terms? I’ll see nothing different, so, what do they do? I swear, Ford’s update blurbs are as useful as Google’s “bug fixes and improvements”

4.3.3 Installed on my 2021 this afternoon.

I got mine yesterday afternoon. Now waiting for the next one, and I will be up to date for the first time since I got the truck in February 2021. I was going to buy a Mongoose but going to pass at this time, since updates are working well, for now.

I do wish they would give a little more technical information on the update, but can't have it all.

Being technically minded I find all these updates extremely frustrating...

"We recently completed an improvement to the trailer and tailgate settings.."

Uh, ok...what improvement? you obviously felt the need to change something, what was it...what has changed, just freaking tell me!!!! Even if it's so damn complicated I can't understand it, I'd rather read a paragraph that I don't understand than for you to just tell me, oh made an improvement...like that doesn't give me ANYTHING! for fudge sake, OY! ....rant over

My truck is getting this update today. My last one was also the day after you got it. Perhaps it's a Lariat extended cab thing ?‍

There was a time that Big Dog Daddy was in my OTA rear view mirror. And nobody should forget the 2-3 month inferiority complex the 2021 owners went through waiting for the 3.X.X ensemble of updates. ???

But currently?
The tables have turned. I'm in Big Dog Daddys OTA wake wondering when the 4.3.X wave will hit my yacht? ??

Depends on what kind of parties you like. Do I fly off the handle at 'what I consider stupid shit' when I'm a little intoxicated, yes, yes I do. Is it entertaining for those around me...usually, but it's all a matter of perspective.

I hope 4.3.3 fixed two issues that bother me. First the the tailgate seems to go to sleep if you don't have the welcome lighting on and requires multiple presses of the button to open it (one to wake it up and then it beeps three times and doesn't open and the second press to open). And the fact that the trailer running lights are always on even when the headlights are not on, generally the running lights only come on when the headlights are on (not just daytime running lights which are always on up here in Canada) but my truck they come on as soon as I shift out of park even during the day
