That's good. I added tow mirrors on my 24' and I thought all was good until I backed into a parking spot at work. Currently at dealership for some other issues, but they are going to calibrate the 360. The parking lines on mine move and are blurry now when parking. Didn't notice for a week. Wasn't until I backed in with yellow lines.
Just to be clear, I swapped cameras in regular (not towing) mirrors, so am not sure what would happen if you tried to swap cameras between manual and power folding towing mirrors, or - if it's even possible - between non-towing regular mirrors and power folding tow mirrors.

I'm sure the dealership's service guys will get it cleared up for you. I'm sort of on my own, as I understand it, since XLTs just are not available with power folding mirrors - regular or towing - unless you do it yourself.

Same size mirrors shouldn't need calibration. They are fixed in place. Going to tow mirrors camera is not same location so needs calibration of camera views. I don't think swapping parts was necessary, but good to know it can be done.

Just to be clear the cameras on the 21' to 23' mirrors do not work on the 24'. If you are installing mirrors of any kind that are for the 21' to 23' on to a 24' you must reuse the cameras that were installed on the 24'.
I found this out because I bought my truck without Tow mirrors. The dealership said that I could buy what they call the Ford tow mirror kit at their cost. That's the pair of mirrors that are far cheaper than ordering them individually... Anybody that has ever bought one mirror for a grand plus knows this...... I could have purchased 24' tow mirrors but they are extremely expensive and not easy to get currently. I think the dealership said 1500 a piece....and this is for an XLT.

Upon ordering them they found out there was no compatibility on a 24'. My dealership researched every single part on the mirror and found that the camera had a different part number. I want to say there was a post on this form at one point when somebody discussed that as well.

Now I found the forscan programming to be identical.

Again just wanted to be clear.....

Makes sense that Ford wants to be difficult. ?

^it's one of the buttons under ipma. click around in the widgets and you should see the one that says something about forgetting learned values. if you have a screenshot, or have fdrs handy, i can tell you which one to run...i just dont have a current license. feel free to pm me.
Thanks for posting, Steve. I guess it's time for me to FDRS license up. After swapping IPMA I just cannot get Lane Departure Warning System Camera calibration to be stable. I too get a combination of 81%ish hanging and 100% "Service procedure completed successfully." However, the DTC C1001:78-2F will not clear, remains, and associated functionality i.e. Collision Avoidance, Lane Keeping/Lane Centering and ACC/iACC not available.

I've had the same "bad luck" 100% completed successfully but not done in FORScan but FDRS calibration was solid. ?‍♂

I hope so. Next, I am doing Power Fold Mirrors. I suspect I will need to re-align 360 then (with yet another license) Hint, hint for anybody who is in SoCal and wouldn't mind running FDRS on my truck with me. I have Mongoose will travel :)
