Just received this one. As I’ve seen with other OTA’s, the Alarm setting for motion sensing is changed. I have to go in and reset it to ask upon exiting if I want it on or off. Audio settings also reverted to stock and consequently have to go in and set them up again.

You don't have internal motion sensing alarm, that's higher trims (though deleted on some years), but you can add impact sensor ML3Z-19A361-A for $147+tax

I have the perimeter plus impact module arriving in a few days. Adding it to the advanced security pack motion sensor that came factory. Without the impact/shock sensor you can jump all over the truck and take a sledge hammer to every panel and the alarm won’t trigger lol.

on that note, I am surprised jumping up and down on the bumper doesn’t set off my alarm as is. It’s supposed to trigger if “weight is removed from the bed” ?‍

@HammaMan , @Samson16 , I'm excited to get this update, mine is scheduled for tomorrow morning! Does this update appear to do away with the need to keep air conditioner fan on 5 or above for 12v charging?

You should be getting a healthy charge w/ out the fan 5 trick upon update.

Is there an issue we haven't already come up with a remedy for? Besides dealers not knowing which end is up. I mean there is a fix for that, do it yourself

? very true you guys are so good, but it does save new members from having to read volumes of tips, tricks, and best practices just to keep their 12V bus healthy!

Afterall: I had to be hooked up to my NOCO for almost 72 hours last weekend to get the SS-NS OTA to go through. First one that's successfully installed since January (had multiple rounds of OTAs failing for weeks in a row from early Feb until this past weekend)...

Afterall: I had to be hooked up to my NOCO for almost 72 hours last weekend to get the SS-NS OTA to go through. First one that's successfully installed since January (had multiple rounds of OTAs failing for weeks in a row from early Feb until this past weekend)...

Well, without hooking my NOCO charger up, my 12V battery SOC is currently at 86% and my hybrid battery at 63%, hopefully that will be enough to install this update overnight, it says it's only a 12-minute update, crossing my fingers.....!
