Im dealing with a annoying squeak coming fom the rear axle area when leaving the line. Truck has 7k miles. My local Ford dealer installed the lowering kit. They have had my truck for 2 weeks. and they cannot solve the problem. I cannot deal with this noise. any help would be highly appreciated.

Stupid question but did you put grease on the face of the bushings when you put everything back together? If everything was greased and torqued down with the truck at ride height it shouldn't squeak.

I went to the dealer last Friday, and they took off and greased all components. And the squeak still remained. I have a lot of money in this truck already, but the noise is unacceptable. Thanks for your help.

If your truck is really low I have heard of people having the driveshaft hit one of the cross members on the bottom of the bed. If the squeak is only happening when leaving the line look around and see if there are marks on the drive shaft or bed. I may be wrong but couldn't hurt to check.

On order ‘22 RCSB.
In my case I had a squeak anytime I gave it gas from a stop or low speeds. Two different lowering kits.
Most recent was ridetech.
I loosened the front leaf spring eyebolt a touch. I think they call for 150 ft-lbs but Im closer to 120. Squeak went away. Nyloc nut so im not worried about it coming off. Just check it after some miles to ensure its not getting loose.

on a previous kit it was the shackle bolt on the passenger side….same thing…loosened it a touch and squeak stopped. This one i ended up double nutting it for piece of mind.

At your own risk of course. But it worked for me.

Bringing this back for anyone who may come across this thread.

A sound returned. On the newer instructions from Ridetech they say some bracket clearancing may be required. See pic. In my case it was drivers bracket on the inside portion of the factory bracket.

Interesting tip to try loosening the bolt a touch, I'll have to try that out.

I've been tracking down the same squeak/groan on my Ridetech kit which developed ~600 miles after installation. It only happens when leaving from a dead stop and if I leave the line really slowly it doesn't happen at all. Been driving me crazy since otherwise the kit is fantastic.

No luck so far, but this post has me hopeful it's in the leaf springs or the mount. I haven't retorqued them yet since I need to buy some extra large wrenches (I borrowed some for the original install).

Regarding the bracket clearance, when I installed the kit on my '24 I couldn't actually line up the ridetech spring brackets until I ground the factory mounts tabs a fair bit (both passenger and driver sides). I'll look in there to see if my noise is from the ridetech bracket rubbing against the factory mount since I removed as little material as possible to get the bolt holes lined up.

Did trimming the bracket clear up the squeak for you this time around?

I only did the grinding a few days ago and i have only driven a few miles and so far no noise. I could see witness marks where the two brackets made contact.
I had the same noise when leaving from a stop like you described.
i will report back after i put more miles on it.

Sorry. Forgot about this post.
yes. No more noises. I only had to grind the drivers side.
Went and looked at my IHC ride quality kit and that’s definitely the issue. Developed a nasty squeak. Will do some trimming soon.
