22' power tailgate will not open!

As said in the title I have a 2022 f150 platnuim powerboost that the power tailgate will not open. All I get is 3 beeps no matter how many times I push either of the 3 buttons used to open it(key fob, tailgate button, inside button). I have checked that valet mode is off and I have toggled power tailgate on and off in the settings. I have made sure the step is closed all the way about 40 times. I also checked all connections in the rear of truck, underneth and inside the tailgate and everything looks good.

I have forscan and hooked it up and there is a code for the rtgm: B15E8:13-0B.
I believe it says there is an open circuit on actuator 2. But I'm not sure if that means I need a new actuator or a new tailgate module like others have had to get in the past. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I just dont want to order the module to find out thats not the problem. Thank you

Attached FYI is the troubleshooting section for the power tailgate from the 2022 workshop manual.

May be of some help, some of the suggested checks / tests for the DTC you mention can be done without the dealer diagnostic tools.

There's a button where the handle used to be that will open the tailgate as well. It's kinda up underneath but it's there.

Although not the the same issue, I learned something new about our power tailgates. It seams that the load in my bed was pushing against the tailgate in such a way that the truck thought the tailgate was ajar. It looked secure to me, so I moved on. When I got to the landfill and tried to lower my tailgate, it would not budge, it just double-beeped at me. Luckily, I was able to open my Pro Access Tailgate's center gate, remove some of the yard waist closest to the tailgate, closed the center gate, pushed the tailgate release button again, and the tailgate lowered.

• Lesson learned: If you have a power tailgate, do not have anything applying pressure to that tailgate in the closed position for you will not get it open (score #1 for Pro Access and traditional tailgates ).
