I still think it’s an out of round tire.
With apology if I missed it in a post ... what size / brand / spec are these tires? How many miles? Just curious.

Just an update. After being at the dealer for just over 5 weeks. The dealer sent the results of some type of vibration sensors that were used on my truck. Ford is now replacing my driveshaft. Dealer said a day or two for the part, that is readily available and same day installation. So hopefully this does the trick

Let us know if the driveshaft replacement does anything. My dealer just keeps saying they can’t replicate it and they only drive it for like 4 miles

2022 F150 XLT FX4 with 2300 miles. I’m having same issues. Installed level kit and 275/70r18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 after I took delivery. I’ve had the tires balanced 2 times, road force balanced yesterday and still shakes. I have an appt with selling dealer on Friday. At this point I’m thinking it has to be an issue with the truck. Interested in what NB64 finds out.

Service manager called yesterday, my new driveshaft was shipped freight and should be in any day. They will immediately install my driveshaft and test drive. Truck has been there for 6 weeks. They’ve put a total of 452 miles on my truck.

Hello, Jaye! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this concern. Thanks!

Tires with deep lugs (aggressive A/T tires) are always gonna be difficult to balance perfectly.

I am still having the exact same issue. 2 different dealers attempted to fix with instructions directly from ford techs (I am told), replaced all 4 tires, multiple road force balance, over a month with 4 trips between the 2 dealers and it still shakes like it did on day 1. Have case opened with Ford but now I am getting ghosted by them. Let me know what your guys come up with, sounds like whatever fixes your problem can be applied to my truck as well.

I am going to attempt the bandaid fix of putting dynamax and rubber washers between the firewall and the gas pedal if the driveshaft change above doesn’t seem to solve the issue. I have read a lot that it’s just vibrations through from the engine cabin and nothing will fix that. Can only mitigate it at the pedal itself

Initially I felt the vibrations only through the gas pedal. Once they balanced the tires and rotated them I felt it strongly throughout the truck. Now it’s in the seat and pedal. That’s why I was so sure it had something to do with the tires. But supposedly they swapped out a different set of tires/wheels and it still had the vibration. The difference seems to be that my dealer used sensors throughout the truck and the tech drove my truck home, a considerable ways away. They told me that the vibration was pinpointed towards the rear of the truck. They sent the raw data to ford who decided it was the driveshaft. But I’ll know soon enough.

I did the vibration test as well, service managers at both dealers agree that something is not right but no one can figure out what. At first the vibration was mostly in the steering wheel, then after several different remedies it moved to the seat and after the last attempt its back in the steering wheel. $70k to get a headache any time I drive for more than 10 minutes.

What sensors did they use? I am going to request they do that with my truck
I'm not really sure, it must be the top secret tiny kind. Tech took my truck home for the evening and had the sensors on the truck, on the paper work is says they are installed around the passenger seat as instructed by Ford engineer. They are supposed to be able to pick up on irregular vibrations and point the tech to the general vicinity where it occurs. I dont think they work very well, test came back just above normal but my truck feels like it has square wheels when I drive.

Mine feels like the gas pedal is like putting your foot on an electric toothbrush or a pair of hair clippers
