Maybe there are different types or something, but in my experience they are very abrasive.Really? "very" abrasive? nah.
I've used it quite a few times, with zero issues. Do you think it would scratch the red plastic light cover?
Have you had first hand experience using one?
We might just be defining our terms a bit differently. According the scale below., I would probably put the Magic Eraser as "Extra-Fine".Maybe there are different types or something, but in my experience they are very abrasive.
Technically, you made an after/beforeI made a before/after for the thread.
So a little lube (WD40) and a lite buff with the eraser..... Wallah! All is well in brand new truck land.

Thanks for the follow up! Glad to hear the story had a happy ending. I'm curious, could you have been the victim of the dreaded bicycle handlebar?? ?Hey guys - the WD-40 worked a little bit but the Magic Eraser was able to get the rest of it off and then I wiped clean with water and Dawn. My girlfriend actually said toothpaste works great too, for anyone that needs that tidbit! Lol. Really appreciate you all helping me out! See pic of after. Thank you!!

I'm not sure...I have a long driveway and not many kids in my neighborhood. I was thinking maybe a shopping cart or someone bought a mop and wacked it against my tail light at Walmart. ?Thanks for the follow up! Glad to hear the story had a happy ending.
