Also, it looks like the keypad is back. In 2025 it showed as a dealer-installed option. This year it has an RPO number.

Another change is the HUD is no longer part of the Lariat 502A package. It’s now a standalone option.

I’m not sure I fully understand it but it looks like they stripped the XL of the 12” digital gauge cluster and went to a 4” cluster, deleted the navigation, and deleted the bed storage boxes which I love on my 2024 XL. Looks like they changed from 12” LCD capacitive touch screen to something different implying non touch, IKD? Looks like they got rid of my favorite Antimatter Blue color too. Basically they really stripped down the XL now.

I just bought a 2025 Platinum Plus (703A) in August. This is what is included:

Platinum Plus Experience
– Premium Maintenace Plan (I still don't know what this is)
– Elite Welcome Call (Never got a call)
– Welcome Package and Tribute Item (Pictures are attached)
– Accessories Discount (90 day window) (I already used the code)
– FordPass Rewards Upgrade Tier (They popped me up 5 or 6 tiers to the top level)
– 1:1 Texting with Ford Truck Expert (Don't know how this is supposed to work)

Good eye, I only skimmed through it and didn’t see those changes to XL. Going back to 4” cluster display is a huge downgrade from the 24-25 full digital dash.
I bet they stripped it down just to be able to advertise a lower “starting at” price.

Makes me happy to have my 2025 XL!
I think the navigation was removed from the XL trim in 2024 though, maybe not. My previous 2023 XL had it.

I believe the middle screen should be the same as 2024/2025 though.

Boy that's brutal. I was against the screen but I actually love it on my 24 XL. That stinks they'd get rid of that, hopefully it's a decade before I bought anything again but man I really enjoy it in the truck. Would not want to not have it now after enjoying it.

Probably read this wrong, but just in case, V8’s available for King Ranch/Platinum? The 2WD option is a neat thing to see come back for those trims!
