My 2025 F150 Raptor 37 was delivered with tailgate that doesn't close automatically.. Is anyone else seeing similar issue? What do you mean by "Closing Automatically"?

It is the power tailgate feature on Raptor: button press on tailgate or keyfob opens and closes the tailgate, closing has defect i.e. tailgate raises all the way to close and then falls back…

Thanks for the description. That answers a lot of questions. So it just is not latching. Do you have a bed cover? Have you tried to Auto close with the cover open if so?

Correct, not latching. Yes, bed cover is open and wrapped and there is nothing in the way of the tailgate. Dealer replaced the latches and power tailgate motor but it only worked randomly and latched with a loud clunk.. they are looking at it now.. 2025 already in shop twice (1 week in march and now almost 1 week in apr) - they are also doing below with Ford:

Tech is going to get a ford hotline ticket opened as well with our engineering team to see if this is an ongoing concern on other 2025 raptors

My 2025 opens and closes fine. No issues so far.
Does the tailgate fall back down, or just doesn't latch.

Yes, falls back just as it reaches to close for latch. Dealer tried everything to fix (even opened ticket with ford) no luck

That's gotta be a software or motor issue. Shouldn't be too hard to get straightened out. good luck

Unfortunately this couldn’t be fixed.. foreman at dealership tried all (replaced motor, latches etc., ford ticket etc.) and no luck, there was an observation though that as the tailgate got close to latching there was drop in voltage (not enough current draw) and it would fall back..

Try taking off the rubber bump stops on each end of the top of the bed where the tailgate touches(try closing then). Try closing the tailgate manually by hand and feel for any binding. Make sure the support cables on each end aren't pinching when trying to close.
