In the Ridetech instructions it states " ON SOME 2024 TRUCKS, USING THE TOP HOLE IN THE REAR SHACKLE MAY RESULT IN CONTACT BETWEEN THE LEAF SPRING AND THE TRUCK BED CROSS BRACE. IF YOU EXPERIENCE THIS INTERFERENCE ON YOUR VEHICLE, YOU MAY EITHER USE A LOWER HOLE ON THE SHACKLE (which will slightly raise the ride height), OR NOTCH OUT THE BED BRACE."

Have any of you experienced this using the top hole? I just got the kit on my truck and we didnt put it on the top hole because we were tired of working on it and wanted to get it out of the door, but how the truck sits now id really like to use that top hole and not have to raise the front as much, it has a lot of rake currently.

Also when you got your kits on, was there an extreme amount of front camber? I have to be sitting on at least 6deg of negative camber now, im hoping there is enough correction in the factory stuff to fix that.

We put my truck on the top notch. I have no issues. It is really close, but does not touch.

The camber was really bad. But then we realized it was too low. We had it down around 4". So we raised the front to around 3 1/4". The alignment shop found very little adjustment on the front end. I think is was set to 2°. But it has settled down some and it think it is more 3 1/2" now and some more camber.

Some run offset camber bolts to get better camber numbers. I have not gotten around to getting these and putting them in. These will correct the camber to some degree at these lowered heights.

But she looks great!

I figured the point of the upper control arms to to alleviate the extreme camber after lowering it but i guess not, I havent seen this topic mentioned elsewhere which is kind of surprising, im looking for camber bolts now and even those dont have much of an adjustment range.

The way we understood this design was if the front was too low, then you would have more camber. So that is why we raised the front some. They alignment shop stated the same. They even suggested that I get the bolts and install them for better camber.

This is the link they sent me.

Have fun and enjoy it!
I raised the front about a .5" of thread on the coilover and it helped the camber a lot, I ordered the SPC 86252 HD kit to get it hopefully perfect, I still have to try to get the rear into the upper hole this weekend, hopefully thats not going to be too difficult, im assuming if I support the chassis and put a jack under the diff I can get those bolts out and use the jack to raise it up higher?

Did you have to adjust your headlights? Mine are pointed much higher now, im lighting up signs a qtr mi away lol

Sits a lot more level now...

Truck looks great! Much better looking camber now.

That should work for the shackle. You might have to take off both bolts on the rear to do it.

In the instructions from Ridetech. It states every full turn on the coilovers gets 1/8" of lift or drop depending on direction of turn.

And I had to adjust the headlights down some. I drove it for about 2 weeks before I really noticed that part. Don't drive much at night.

Here is mine last fall about a week after dropping it.

I have a super cab 4x4 and used the second from the lowest hole in the rear shackle, wanted a little rake. I have no clearance issues. The front was another story. Could not get the truck to align due to too much camber as the LCA bolts were slammed all the way inboard. I ended up slotting the LCA mounting holes 1/2" to get enough adjustment room to get it to properly align. I used the cam adjuster nuts to keep it in place after modifying. After finally getting up with Ridetech and emailing with a fellow named Greg, I was pretty much dismissed with them saying I have an "anomaly truck" that this is not normal and I am the exception, not the rule. Something has changed on the '24 trucks in the frame area as the knuckles and LCA are the same as the '23's. Anyway, I am low in the front, not stupid low, but low enough. Both of your single cab trucks look good,, was going to go that route but got a screaming deal on this one.

I did adjust my head lights. Just use a Philips head screw driver on the adjuster to turn them down, very easy.
