I stripped the interior in the last couple of nights to do a few more upgrades. The first is to install sound deadening material to the doors and floor. The second is to remove the jump seat and install the floor console. Finally I will move my passenger seat cover over to the 10 way passenger seat I bought and run power wires for the seat.
I will upgrade the stereo at some point.

A little to tell, not much show. I got all the carpet back in the truck last Thursday evening. Friday evening I began the console install. I removed a few parts from the dash and got the new A/C bezel installed for the console. I set the console in the truck for a test fit and decided the grey console did not match my grey on the bottom of the door panels. On top of that, it flat did not look good with my black and red seats. I promptly contacted the eBay seller and exchanged it for a black one that should be here by the end of the week.
Sunday with the interior on hold, I tore the rear suspension down for the 6th time. I have had a vibration or shake no mater how the axle saddle or the shims were set up on my Ride Tech lowering kit. I talked to another forum member who had replaced his composite leaf springs for the 2020 back steel leaf springs and solved all the problems. With this information, I bought some 2020 rear leaf springs and installed them in the truck. The truck sits differently now, but I have not been able to drive it with no interior.
I will report back on how the springs work out.

@MGF150 not sure how I've missed these last few updates...??‍♂
Looking good. Sound deadener was on my list of eventual mods to do as well but I would need to find carpet first.

When you said the 2020 springs makes your truck sit different, how so? Higher?

Ye sir, about 1/4 inch higher. They also don't have the composite overload spring hanging down. My console should arrive today, so I should be able to finish the inside up by the end of the week and drive it. Hopefully they cured my pinion vibration problems.

Before installing my lowering kit I noticed a bad vibration around 70 mph. As I was taking the wheels off to do lowering kit I noticed the rear lug nuts weren't very tight at all, I'm wondering if that was causing some of my vibration. Have not had the truck above 50 after installing lowering kit to know if I still have a vibration around 70.

Where did you get the new badges? That might have to be my next mod as I hate the current badges.

Curious if you put any sound deadener on the roof or if you plan to? I want to…just havent gotten up the nerve to drop the headliner.

I did not do the roof, I might do it when I upgrade stereo system because I will have to remove the pillars anyway to install tweeters. I did the back wall the day after I picked the truck up and it made a huge difference. Now with the floors and doors done I am curious if it made any more difference. My floor already had the factory rubber mat with the factory sound deadening and then carpet installed over the mat.

I made a little more progress last night. New black console installed and bolted in. All the dash pieces lined up correctly for a factory fit. Hopefully tonight I can get the seats back in. I need to run a hot wire for the passenger side. The fuse is in the fuse box but the seat does not work when plugged in.

Most of the emblems I see say up to 2023.
I guess 2023 will fit 2024? I know 2024 has new badges , are they the same size as 2023?

I called and got them done to make sure the paint was the correct code and the 24 was not a problem. Honestly any body shop could do them.
