All,

picking up the truck tomorrow. On all my previous F150’s there was a way to disable the seat belt chime without Forscan. Does anyone know that process for the 2024 PB? Thanks in advance

I just tried this on my 2024 XL and it worked. It didn't work for the guy, but he already had his turned off, so when he did it again, it turned it back on, so he did it again, and it worked.

Turn key on (do not start), turn radio/AC/fan off, set parking brake. Turn key off.
Turn key on (do not start), wait until air bag light goes out, wait 3-5 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle the seat belt 4 times, ending with it unbuckled, wait for seatbelt light to flash and then stay on, then buckle and unbuckle one more time. That's it !! You can drive it around the block with your seatbelt unbuckled and the warning on the screen will stay on, but NO CHIME !!

The instructions are in the owners manual on your center screen. It was easy to do. The 24 seat belt warning seems more aggressive than previous years. But I always disable mine.

Are the 2 solutions above permanent or have to be repeated each time using the truck?

Its permanent unless you take it for maintenance and they turned it back on for some reason or the battery was unplugged then you might need to do it again. But otherwise it's a once and done.

The chime doesn't bother me as much as the screen showing the green checkmark(s) on the cluster not going away until I hit the 'OK' button on the wheel. I wish that was able to be changed without forscan.

What did you do to get that removed cause I can't find the code to do that. I got it to where if it's on while driving and I take it off it stays red and on the screen and can't be moved till the belt goes back on.

Thanks.
